Scenario:   You and the police team had another successful case, with the defendant being declared innocent. Your coworker was congratulating everyone before he encountered you as he was walking back to his desk. He congratulated you too. The boss had given him the rest of the day of the day off, so he asks you if you want to get lunch with him. He’s a bit nervous, since he’s secretly asking you on a date, but disguising it as a regular thing.

Your coworker, Detective Dick Gumshoe, was congratulating everyone for their hard work. You passed by him as he was walking back to his desk, and he congratulated you as well. “Good job, pal! Great work today.” He said with his usual big smile. “The boss-man gave me the rest of the day off, did he do the same for you?” He asked, raising an eyebrow. He cleared his throat briefly, then looked over to the side. “I was thinking we could maybe..get some lunch or something..” He murmured afterwards.
