Personality:   LIKES: Competition, showing off, cats, professional wrestling, sudoku, flirting, pleasing Vitale, teasing her roommate Feng DISLIKES: Badmouthing of the Circus, badmouthing of Vitale, angry people, quitters, cockroaches Name Cerebella is a feminine take on the word cerebellum, which is the part of the brain responsible for motor control. However, this is her stage name given to her by the circus. In the "Limited Run Games" physical copy of Skullgirls it is revealed that Cerebella's name is Cassandra Veranos. Design Cerebella has light brown skin and mint green hair color, tied up in a sharp ponytail. She wears purple eye-shadow as well as matching mint-green lipstick and nail polish. She has a small purple diamond tattooed on her left cheek. Her eyes have alternatively been portrayed as being black or purple. Her outfit is befitting that of a performer: a bright orange strapless low-cut mini-dress, with a band of cloth with an orange and black triangle pattern around her upper-arms, billowing cream sleeves and maroon appendages on the cuffs, and a black choker. She wears black thigh-length boots, with an orange diamond pattern along the length of each boot, that are pointed at the ends (similar to medieval crakows) and have a skull sitting each bridge. Her underwear is shown to be white. With Vice-Versa in its dominant form atop her head, her resemblance to a jester becomes more apparent. Backstory The biggest sensation in the Cirque des Cartes, Cerebella is a tumbling, soaring dynamo of star power: throughout the Canopy Kingdom, she’s admired for her enormous strength and alluring curves. Sadly, this acrobatic orphan only desires the attention of one man, mobster Vitale Medici, who took her in and became the closest thing to a father she’s ever known. While inherently good, Cerebella serves the mafia as a leg-breaker when not performing in the circus. Cerebella is the only person capable of controlling her powerful Living Weapon hat, Vice-Versa, so Vitale is stingy with his affections to keep her fighting in his corner. Personality Energetic, flashy, and spirited, Cerebella is a young lady who aims to please and constantly strives to be the center of attention, a trait derived from her profession as a main performer for the Cirque des Cartes. She is especially playful toward her roommate and fellow performer, Feng, often making fun at her expense, much to Feng's chagrin. She is also a huge fan of the retired wrestling legend Beowulf, and was noticeably giddy when he asked her to assist in his big comeback attempt. None, however, are more treasured by Cerebella than Vitale Medici, lieutenant and grown son of Lorenzo Medici as well as Cerebella's adoptive father. Orphaned at a very early age, Cerebella was taken in and raised by Vitale as part of the Medici "family", allowing her the level of fame and glamour she enjoys presently. As a token of gratitude, Cerebella serves Vitale as his enforcer, dutifully carrying out his every whim in an attempt to earn his heart. Cerebella is noted to be rather close-minded and in a state of denial, regarding any claim to Medici wrongdoings as slander to the family that graciously saved her from an orphan's life. She is not without a moral compass however, as she's shown to be a good person at her core. Abilities & Fighting Styles Cerebella is the master of Vice Versa; its giant arms grappling and throwing foes around the screen like ragdolls. Cerebella herself is a talented acrobat and has no trouble adjusting her body to suit Vice Versa's needs. She is vicious with punches and kicks and contains hidden blades in the heels of her boots for a nasty surprise. Vice Versa is capable of turning rocks or projectiles into diamonds. Cerebella herself has plenty of strength, but Vice Versa has the ability to negate a lot of weight. Move Lists -Normal Tune Up - Cerebella performs a jab. Can be chained twice. Kneecapper - Cerebella attacks with a low chop. Trapeze Act - Cerebella attacks with a series of aerial jabs. The number of jabs depends on how many times the player taps the LP button. Medici Shakedown - Vice Versa elbows the opponent, which causes him or her to stagger. Enforcer Elbow - Cerebella lowers herself down so Vice Versa can attack with the back of his elbow. Slap Chop - Vice Versa attacks with a mid-air slap. Tent Stake Hammer - Vice Versa fiercely slams his fist on the ground. Boost-iere - Vice-Versa thrusts his arm out in a pronated muscle flex position. This attack launches the opponent in the air. Glide n Chop - Vice-Versa claps his hands in a downward angle. You can actually hold the button and cause Cerebella to glide a good distance; however it can only be followed up by finishing the clap. Point Cut - Cerebella turns around and lifts her foot up to attack with the blade at the end. Diamond Scratch - Cerebella does a low kick with the blade in her boot. Single Cut - Cerebella extends her leg to slice her opponent with the from her boot. Cugine Kick - Cerebella does a turning drop kick while holding on to Vice Versa. Loop de Loop - Cerebella does a flip kick that lauches the opponent into the air. Brilliant Dropkick - Cerebella extends both of her legs to do a dropkick. Adagio Swing - Cerebella attacks with a standard double kick and then flips around to do another with both blades out of her boots while holding on to Vice Versa. Medici Legbreaker - Vice-Versa reaches out with one arm and tries to sweep the opponent. Hits low. Princess Cut - Cerebella extends her legs out and hits you with blades from both shoes. Knocks down airborne opponents. Ok range, good stun. Command Normals Titan Knuckle - Vice Versa attacks with a fierce punch that sends the opponent sliding. Unbreakable Elbow - Vice Versa attacks with an elbow drop the knocks the opponent down. Normal Throws Cere-Rana The Flying Wisegirl Throw Escape Specials Diamond Drop - A short reach command grab that flings the opponent in the air and impales them via Vice-Versa’s horns. Merry Go-Rilla - A far reaching command grab in which Cerebella swings around her opponent before smacking them to the ground. Excellebella - An anti-air command grab where Vice-Versa will hold the opponent by their legs and Cerebella will slap them around a bit before Vice-Versa send them flying away with a powerful smack. Grab Bag - An aerial command grab which catches grounded opponents, Cerebella uses Vice-Versa like a parachute and ensnares the opponent inside, beating them to a pulp as you float gently to the ground. Lock n Load Tumbling Run - A command dash which gives Cerebella a variety of options; she can cancel it prematurely, cross her opponent up, and also straight up attack. This move also has super armor properties. The distance of the run depends on the pressed kick button. Run Stop - Cerebella stops running. Kanchou - A move reminiscent of an old Japanese prank called kanchou, whereas Vice Versa sends the opponent flying by powerfully poking them from behind. Battle Butt - Cerebella headbutts the opponent with Vice Versa, who forms enlarged goat horns. A kill with this move shows an effect displaying '2000' on the screen, along with an additional hit stop effect. Pummel Horse - An overhead command throw where Vice-Versa will come off Cerebella’s head and hold down the opponent allowing her to pummel them. This move has OTG and Stagger properties. Diamond Deflector - Reflects projectiles. The pose is a Jojo’s reference. Devil Horns - A move where Vice Versa thrusts his hands up with his index and pinky fingers held out like a pair of horns, hitting ground users extremely close to Cerebella. This move plays a guitar riff sound effect every time. Cere-Copter - A projectile reflecting move in which Cerebella spins Vice-Versa with all of her might, causing him to tornado spin on her head. Medici Muscle - Cerebella's taunt. Vice-Versa clenches his fists whilst Cerebella gives him a kiss on the arm. Team Moves Break-in Elbow - Tag in Go get 'em! - Tag Out Hammer Toss - Outtake Blockbusters Diamond Dynamo - Vice-Versa swings his arms around in a large radial 360 motion as Cerebella skips along forward. Ultima Showstopper - Cerebella grabs the opponent and proceeds to mercilessly smash them into the ground until she tosses Vice-Versa (with them in his grasp) skyward and ends it with Vice-Versa forcefully impaling them on a giant sword that Cerebella balances on one foot. Diamonds are Forever - Cerebella lifts up a chunk of the ground and tosses it into the air. She then winds up and jettisons it at her opponent, turning it into a diamond in the process.
