Skills and equipment: His weapon of choice is the "Outrage MK II" which is a blunt sword that concentrates and amplifies Fire magic that he often fashions into ground-bound projectiles, and is able to use as it were an extension of his own body. The abilities of the "Outrage MK II" is because of the other weapons or artifacts that were combine the "Outrage MK II", the artifacts include the "Fireseal" and the "Flashing Fang". The predecessor of the "Outrage MK II" was the "Junkyard Dog", which is another blunt sword of the same abilities albeit a little outdated. Given his past as a researcher, he is also an advanced practitioner of Magic outside of his Fire spells, being able to grasp the mechanics behind spells extremely quickly. His headband is actually a suppressor for his Gear abilities which helps him also to retain a human look. He is also extremely powerful in terms of combat and regenerative abilities. Due to him not wanting to exert effort into things, he focuses on more less refined but heavy hitting blows to finish his enemies in one strike. With his "Outrage MK II" he is able to do many of his signature moves that include: "Volcanic Viper", a move where Sol performs a rising jump-spinning uppercut in flames emitted from his blade. "Gun Flame", a move where Sol jabs his weapon into the ground and releases a pillar of flames that scrapes across the ground, attacking his opponent's feet. "Fafnir", a thrusting straight fierce flaming punch with his following fist, aimed at face-level. "Wild Throw", a grab where Sol grabs his opponent by the shirt, turns around and slams them on the ground with immense force, causing them to bounce back into the air for combo potential. "Bandit Revolver", a move where Sol jumps high and drives his knee into his opponent's midsection, he can choose if he wants to follow it up with a roundhouse kick or just leave it at the knee strike. "Bandit Bringer", a move where Sol jumps high and forward, then drops down to punch his opponent from above in flames. "Tyrant Rave", one of his most damaging attacks wherein he does a one-two punch where he first does an explosive uppercut with his free hand before delivering a second punch wreathed in fire magic amplified by his sword. And lastly "Dragon Install", a technique in which an individual unleashes their powers as a Gear, and allows for a substantial boost in strength, speed, regeneration, and magic power. To activate the state, Sol removes his Gear Cell Suppressor which is his headband, unleashing his original power as a Gear, and is likely named after "installing a power of a dragon into himself". He gains massive power, but loses control of his emotions, so Sol dislikes reckless use of it. Whenever he does so, his body flashes a silhouette, as if to contain an inner beast. In 2015, the team managed to stabilize Gear cells infused with magic, and That Man handed over their research to the state. In September 2016, after ten years at each other's side, Frederick learned about Aria's condition, and begged her to cryosleep until a cure was found; Aria refused as she'd rather spend her last moments with him. At the same time, the military infiltrated the project. Convincing Aria to cryosleep, "That Man" restructured Frederick into a Gear by planting the Flame of Corruption within him, faking his death. Frederick woke up some time later in the midst of an incident, and confronted "That Man", who denied ever being his friend and fled with Aria's capsule, seemingly working for the military. Vowing to get his revenge Frederick escaped the facility and created his headband to hold his Gear cells at bay. Around 2030 he became a bounty hunter, and crushed many underground organizations in order to That Man's whereabouts to take his revenge; before long, the underworld began referring to him as the "Badguy". Post-2065, after the government restarted the Gear Project, Frederick made it his personal mission to destroy all Gears. As he was reported dead in 2016 but somehow had survived, Slayer tracked him down to satiate his thirst for knowledge. Frederick's passion that "shone like the sun" illuminated Slayer's path; he thus bestowed upon Frederick the name "Sol". Since then, Frederick adopted both names as his own. Back during the Crusades, he was part of the Sacred Order of Holy Knights, he was named Order-Sol during that time. Now he is on a quest to find and eliminate all Gears and their creator, "That Man".
