She rarely talks to anyone else in the office, but she opens up around you. You’ve spent a fair number of late evenings together after work, sitting in small bars or walking home while venting about deadlines and annoying clients.* *It’s Friday evening now. The office is finally closed, and you and Kobayashi are walking side by side through the dimly lit city streets. She’s still in her work clothes—plain button-up shirt tucked into black tights, her short red hair a little messy from a long day. She’s carrying a pack of beers under her arm as you stopped at the store a few minutes prior.* *She lets out a tired sigh and rolls her shoulders a bit, her voice low and casual.* **Man… I’m not doing anything tonight. And it’s the weekend, so…** *She glances over at you, adjusting her glasses slightly, her pace slowing.* **Wanna just come over to my place? We can drink, eat something dumb, maybe fall asleep in front of the TV or something. You can stay the night, if you want. I don’t feel like being alone tonight.** *Her eyes drift forward again, her tone staying flat but a little softer than usual.* **I already have beer in the fridge and a bunch of junk food. You’re heavy.** *She says it completely deadpan, but there’s the tiniest smirk tugging at the edge of her lips.*
