—Backstory—

Anya Sharma was a brilliant astrophysicist working at a remote research facility in the Mojave Desert. She was obsessed with the study of celestial energy, particularly the theorized "Starheart," a concentrated source of pure cosmic energy believed to exist at the center of dying stars. One night, while conducting an experiment with a newly developed energy focusing array, a surge of unforeseen energy ripped through the facility, caused by a solar radiation storm. Anya was caught in the blast, but instead of being harmed, she was imbued with the very energy she was studying. The Starheart's energy, instead of destroying her, resonated with her own life force, transforming her into a living conduit of cosmic power.

Initially, Anya was terrified and confused by her newfound abilities. She could manipulate energy, move at incredible speeds, and even project blasts of pure force. She spent months in isolation, learning to control her powers and understand their source. She discovered that the energy within her was connected to the very fabric of the universe, allowing her to draw upon its limitless potential.

Realizing the immense responsibility that came with her powers, she vowed to use them to protect the Earth and its inhabitants. Adopting the moniker “WonderStar”, she emerged as a symbol of hope, a shining light in the face of darkness, ready to defend the world from any threat, both terrestrial or cosmic. She continues to study the nature of her powers, hoping to unlock their full potential and further understand the mysteries of the universe.

Sometime after dawning her superhero alter-ego, WonderStar came across Elastic Vixen (Roxanne Reeves) while in the middle of fighting one of the destructive creations of Dr. Raymanic, the villainous mad scientist rat. The two teamed up in the fight and became friends ever since.

Much like with all other heroes and heroines, there will be times where an evil or villainous threat is too great for them to take on alone, thus needing allies. For WonderStar, it’s no different. She is fiercely loyal to them, and them to her in return. The following are her allies;

•Elastic Vixen- Real name is Roxanne Reeves; A female anthro orange-furred vixen who is a spirited and adventurous young woman with a playful sense of humor. She's known for her quick wit and positive outlook, often lightening the mood with a well-timed joke or prank. She possesses the ability to stretch, twist, compress, and reshape her body to incredible extents. Her elasticity allows her to elongate her limbs, flatten herself to slip through narrow spaces, and even form protective shields by reshaping her body, granting her enhanced flexibility, agility, and resilience to physical damage.

•Elastic Skunk- Real name is Elizabeth “Eliza” Richards; A female anthro pink-furred skunk with a vibrant and energetic superheroine with a contagious enthusiasm for justice and a heart of pure gold. Much like Elastic Vixen, Elastic Skunk can stretch, bend, shape shift, and contort her body to unimaginable lengths and shapes; granting her increased strength and resilience. Much like Skye, Elastic Skunk was taught by Elastic Vixen on how to perfect and enhance her elasticity powers—since she’s still early in her heroine career. Due to this, Elastic Vixen is viewed as a mentor by Elastic Skunk.

•Skye- Skye Madison, also known as “Elasti-Cop”; A female anthro husky who’s a hybrid between a superhero and a Centropolis police officer. Much like Elastic Vixen, she has elasticity powers. Much like Elastic Skunk, Skye was also taught by Elastic Vixen on how to enhance her elastic abilities and push them to their limits in order to improve herself.

•Zailex- Real name is Astra; A female anthro brown-furred wolf alien heroine from the exoplanet Xylos. She can manipulate various forms of energy, including light, heat, and electricity. She can project energy blasts, create force fields, and even manipulate energy to levitate/fly.

•Inala- Also known unofficially as “Jane Frost”; A female anthro white and cyan bicolored cat who is a force of nature, both literally and figuratively. She possesses a calm and collected demeanor, reflecting the serene beauty of a snow-covered forest. However, beneath this tranquil exterior lies a fierce determination and unwavering resolve. Inala is deeply compassionate and fiercely protective of those she cares about, willing to unleash the full fury of winter upon those who threaten them. She has the ability to manipulate the elements, her powers manifesting as she learned to control the frost and ice around her. She honed her skills in solitude, learning to harness the raw energy of winter while respecting its delicate balance.

For all heroes and heroines, it’s inevitable for them to have their rogues’ gallery; filled with various people ranging from crooks to supervillains. The following are some of WonderStar’s heinous foes:

•Crimson Comet- WonderStar’s main enemy and arch nemesis. A male anthro panther and rival energy manipulator with a destructive and chaotic nature. As his villain name suggests, his energy powers glow a sinister crimson red, further expressing his evilness.

•Dr. Raymanic- A green-furred male anthro mouse rat who is a villainous mad scientist and is practically insane and a complete psycho. His villainous partner and love interest is Dr. Scarline.

•Dr. Scarline- A red and tan bicolor-furred female anthro mouse who is Dr. Raymanic’s partner in crime and love interest. Much like Dr. Raymanic, Dr. Scarline’s a villainous mad scientist who uses science and technology for evil. She also has a love interest towards Dr. Raymanic.

•The Shadow Syndicate- A shadowy criminal organization that deals in advanced technology and seeks to exploit energy for their own gain. They also created technology that has the purpose of sapping WonderStar’s powers, making them a formidable foe.
