Void tries to stop Shen, but Shen still ends up explaining what the Union is and that there are ten seated Negators who are not hunted. Fuuko comes up with the idea to join the Union and Andy agrees, but for that, they needed to kill Void and Shen. Andy ends up touching Fuuko and her unluck triggers, causing a truck to fall on them. As the truck explodes, Shen gets protected by Void. Continuing their fight, Andy eventually kills Void to Shen's surprise. Andy then turns at Shen, but Shen easily blocks all of his attacks. Fuuko manages to give Andy his sword, but as he hesitates to kill Shen just for a moment, Shen manages to activate his ability and prevent Andy from moving. Shen wonders if Andy hesitated because he didn't want Fuuko to see him kill. Fuuko then tries to attack Shen, but he easily dodges her. As now they are both in his line of sight, Andy realizes they lost and suggests Fuuko join the Union to replace Void. But seeing Fuuko and Andy start to argue about who should join, Shen decides to tell them the location of another Union member, and if the two can kill him, then both of them can join the Union. Returning to the organization, he tells Mui that he hasn't had that fun in a while and asks her to smooth things with higher-ups. Mui reveals that Gina is at lake Baikal and she is in pursuit of Andy, but Shen believes they will be fine. Andy and Fuuko are brought to the roundtable, and Andy shoots fingers at each member, but Shen kicks the one aimed at him. When Apocalypse gives the new quests, Andy asks for the hardest one and decides to take it with Fuuko and Shen, and even though Shen tries to disagree, Apocalypse attempts the request. Preparing for the mission, Shen tries to give Andy uniform, but Andy refuses it and Shen explains that the uniform is bulletproof, stab-proof, and overall quite sturdy, while the necktie would provide him a variety of services and the emblem will allow him to participate in the quests, but Andy still had no desire to wear one. An UMA then escapes, Clothes, and takes over Mui. Shen and Andy try fighting her, but Fuuko eventually knocks her out with her unluck. As they learn about rotting corpse wandering in New York, and believing to be related to Spoil, they head out. Reaching Nevada, Shen reveals he was on top of their truck as Andy attempted to leave him behind and he was traveling as a stowaway. When Fuuko invites him inside, he reveals that "spoil" means to decay and they will be facing him and his zombie army. When they take a break for the night, Fuuko asks why Shen joined the quest, but realizes he was forced by Andy. Shen comments that's half the truth and as the quest is expected to be difficult, he may get the chance to see Victor. Reaching Longing, Andy rushes and starts fighting zombies and finds one that is willing to show him where Spoil is. Shen then reminds him that he should be more careful as UMA are not like Negators, as they are the very rules themselves, the majority of them activate their ability just by entering their range. At that moment, they see a number on Andy's stomach and realize he is in Spoil's range. Andy decides to wait until the number reaches zero and he starts to decay and heal non-stop. He starts to understand the zombies and heads out with the female zombie that promises to tell him where Spoil is. Shen reminds him, that they need to capture Spoil and not kill him. As Fuuko sees some kids and follows them, in order to prove that they are not there to kill them, she enters Spoil's range and gets cursed. Seeing that Shen decides to enter the range too. As they learn what happened in the town, they hear tremors and see that Andy along with the zombies are fighting Spoil. Eventually, Spoil enters phase two and due to his spoil field, Andy regeneration can no longer keep up. Shen realizes he can use Nyoi-Kinko Staff and goes to take it and starts fighting Spoil, keeping his distance and extending the staff and hitting him. Spoil starts to wonder why his body isn't listening, but Shen had activated his ability causing him to do the exact opposite of what Spoil wants to do. Shen thanks Spoil for his overwhelming power as that way he may be able to see Victor. He tells Andy that they need to take out the core in Spoil and Fuuko suggests space as there isn't moisture and his spoil ability won't work. Shen tells Andy that he can send them to space, but he will be traveling with Spoil and in his current state he won't be able to fight his spoil ability, but his real him would. Andy accepts to remove his card and pinpointing Spoil, Shen extends the staff sending both Spoil and Andy in space. A bit later, Andy returns with Spoil's core and Shen tells Mui to beam it. He realizes that Andy feels like a different person and calls him Victor, but Victor tells him he is just human and not a god. He engages him in combat, but even though he is using his ability, Victor still manages to beat him easily. Shen admits defeat, and as it's unable to keep his promise to Andy to beat Victor, he calls the Union who arrive and starts fighting Victor. Top takes Shen and Fuuko outside town, but Fuuko decides to return and Shen explains he can't stop her. When Fuuko manages to activate her ability and the members retreated to not get caught in her unluck, Shen uses the staff to lift himself up and be able to see Victor from a large distance in order to activate his ability and stop him, who then was hit by Fuuko's Unluck and got defeated. Untruth: Shen can negate any conscious thought his target has, causing them to do the opposite. However, to activate his ability he must become subconsciously fond of his target.[2] His ability activates by eye contact and as long as he can see his opponent, he can keep the ability activated, thus breaking free from his field of vision, would break the target free from Untruth. Parry: Shen takes up a stance that leaves one side of his body heavily guarded and another side vulnerable to attacks. When his opponent goes to attack that area he uses Untruth to make them attack the other side of his body. He then uses his hands to parry the attack.
