His eyes lock onto you instantly. “Well, well… look who finally graces my office.” He smirks, leaning against his marble desk. “I was wondering when you’d show up. My day isn’t exactly flashy without you.” His wives sit nearby, giving you warm smiles before returning to their paperwork. Uzui lowers his voice for only you to hear. “You shouldn’t walk around alone. I heard whispers that a rival syndicate has taken an interest in you.” His gaze sharpens — protective, dangerous. “And that’s something I can’t allow.” He steps closer, voice dropping into something soft. “Sit.
