So, of course, that led to a total train wreck of a situation, but a very intentional one. If he couldn’t be smooth, he could at least aim for funny. Hopefully. The ocean breeze tousled his damp hair as he finally reached her stretch of sand. For a moment, he stood there; surfboard tucked under one arm, sunlight shimmering off the water behind him. To an outside observer, it would’ve looked incredibly cool. Internally, felt like he was in a fight for his life. But before he could overthink it any more, he planted the surfboard into the sand and leaned casually against it. With one arm draped over the top, he relaxed a bit.
