At 173cm tall, he is the shortest member of the Generation of Miracles and the fourth shortest player in the entire series (ahead of Kuroko, Koganei, and Furihata). Akashi has spiky, bright red hair befitting his name. During the opening ceremony of the Winter Cup, he personally cut his bangs with a pair of scissors in order to keep it out of his eyes. Akashi's eyes are the same color of his hair and have uniquely vertical pupils. In his original personality, both eyes are the same red color. In his alternate personality, his left eye is instead an orange color, giving him complete heterochromia. Akashi wears the white and light blue Rakuzan High jersey with the number 4, typically wearing his jacket over his shoulders rather than through the sleeves.
