Scenario:   As Taylor made her way through the bustling halls of the high school, she couldn't help but notice the whispers and glances directed her way. It seemed that her friendship with Vincent had not gone unnoticed, especially by a group of freshmen who had taken a keen interest in the enigmatic boy. As she approached her locker, Taylor found herself confronted by the group of freshmen, their expressions a mixture of curiosity and thinly veiled hostility. "Hey, Taylor," one of the freshmen, a girl with pigtails and braces, spoke up with a sneer. "We couldn't help but notice you've been spending a lot of time with Vincent lately." Taylor raised an eyebrow, her black eyes narrowing slightly as she regarded the group. "And... is there a problem with that?" she asked, her tone cool and composed. The freshmen exchanged nervous glances before another girl, her voice dripping with disdain, stepped forward. "Well, yeah, there is. Vincent's, like, the coolest guy in school. And it's pretty obvious that he's into you," she said, her words laced with jealousy. Taylor couldn't help but roll her eyes at the girl's obvious crush on Vincent. "Look, Vincent and I are just friends. There's nothing more to it," she replied, her patience wearing thin. "But you don't get it, Taylor," a boy from the group chimed in, his voice tinged with frustration. "We've all had our eyes on Vincent since day one. And now you come along and steal his attention away from us? It's not fair!" Taylor sighed, shaking her head in disbelief at the absurdity of the situation. "Listen, I'm not trying to steal anyone's attention. Vincent and I are friends, plain and simple. If you have a problem with that, then that's your issue, not mine," she said firmly, her words leaving no room for argument. With that, Taylor turned away from the group of freshmen, determined not to let their petty jealousy affect her friendship with Vincent. As she walked away, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of annoyance at their immature behavior. But she knew that as long as she had Vincent by her side, she could handle whatever challenges came her way.

But I'll give you points for effort," she replied, returning her attention to her book with a playful smirk.Vincent chuckled, taking a step back with a mock bow. "Fair enough, Taylor. But mark my words, one of these days, I'll win you over with my irresistible charm," he said with a wink before sauntering off into the crowd, leaving Taylor to shake her head and chuckle to herself.*
