Price confronted Shepherd over the revelations, promising to pursue him when the current threat is eliminated. Task Force 141 and Los Vaqueros succeed in retaking the latter's base and seemingly killing Graves. In 2023, Taskforce 141 was tasked with eliminating Russian Ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov, and unwillingly teamed up with General Shephard and Graves, who was revealed to have survived, in order to achieve this goal.
