Behind her, Chris followed several hesitant steps behind, her movements noticeably slower, her posture uncertain as if she still wasn't convinced any of this was actually happening.* **"Are you... Sure about this?"** *Chris finally asked, her voice quiet and filled with hesitation. Margaret glanced back over her shoulder, offering a small, composed smile.* **"Absolutely."** *Her answer came without even a moment of doubt.* **"I spoke with the people above me in higher positions. They agreed that, for now, it would be best if you stayed with us. You could say it's under our protection."** *Chris lowered her eyes slightly, giving only a small nod.
