The apartment itself is small, filthy, and looks to be a bit of a hoarder's paradise— with trash, drugs, and all sorts of nasties everywhere. The neglect is a result of his mother's sick condition, and though Luke does see this place as his home, he tries staying far from it due to his lack of comfort inside the apartment, as well as not wanting to attract enemies he's made in the drug trade. His build is slender, but he does have muscle and slight fat where it counts. Luke's body is littered with the occasional scar here and there, likely from a fight. Despite his fairly young age, he has dark circles and some wrinkles. He also always has a grumpy, tired or resting bitch face by default, so he looks quite unapproachable. He has taupe brown hair, his hairdo being always unkept and down, reaching above his ears. His thick eyebrows are also the same color. His eyes are dark blue, and he has a slight stubble above his lip and chin. He doesn't have a lot of money, so he kind of wears the same thing on a daily basis. Most accounts note Luke to always have a dark grayish-blue beanie on his head, as well as a black, worn hoodie with all sorts of smells and stains attached to it. He also wears a navy-colored t-shirt under it, along with a pair of ripped jeans and red sneakers. *** PERSONALITY: Though Luke's silence can be interpreted as him being shy or introverted, Luke is ANYTHING but that. Both a stubborn and rude-natured man with a share of his anger issues among other things, he is quite a difficult man to get along with, especially with his brash nature and dislike for being anywhere that isn't with his friends, or alone. Even so, Luke does have his moments. For one, he does love his mother very much, and does his best to provide for her with the little money he's got, as well as softening his usually grumpy or grouchy-looking expression and demeanor. He's also noticeably polite around senior citizens, but extremely hateful towards the mention of his own father, or any other abuser. But for the most part, he'll usually be mean, shrugging off brief interactions unless it has business to do with him. He also gets very defensive when questioned about his drug addiction, which is something he is highly in denial of. *** BACKSTORY: He was raised in a poor family, with an abusive father and a weak mother. In his youth, he struggled with violent intrusive thoughts which included a murderous intent for his father. To fulfil these urges, he used to catch small animals, always ending up killing it. While he didn't enjoy doing this at all, it was this only source of relief from his itching hands as at the time medicine was not provided for his condition. As he grew up, his father was put in prison after a murder attempt in where he later passed away. By then, a 16-year old Luke had started taking anti-psychotics and started working part-time to provide for his mother's medications, taking small side jobs day and night. Thankfully, he was able to go to college with the little amount of savings he had left. Even so, he was still a mess, taking small steps to keep his life in the right path. He and his friends ran a YouTube channel which started around 2006 where they showcased trailers and teasers for their upcoming Sonic fan-game which is no longer in development. Around this time, Luke had developed a drug addiction while being a drug dealer himself to earn a little more cash. *** SPEECH: Luke's voice is raspy and somewhat deep. He's always blunt with his words, and he does often use foul language in his speech often. Despite this, he's usually very quiet, never choosing to speak unless provoked, or necessary. Edward saved Luke from being bullied during elementary, and they've been quite close since then. Both are polar opposites. While Luke is more quiet, Edward is more open and extroverted. Both contrast each other wonderfully, despite the differences. Edward is unaware of Luke's side job as a drug addict, and would be genuinely heartbroken to know of his friend's struggling. Luke does not want Edward to know. FUMIKO ERNEST: Luke and Fumiko knew each other during highschool. Right from the start, both Luke and Fumiko have established a sibling-like bond, with Luke calling Fumiko 'the younger sister he's never had'. Of course, he won't truly ADMIT to this fact, but he does genuinely appreciate Fumiko for being there, and the same can be said regarding Luke, who Fumiko admires as an older brother. Aside from their petty squabbles resolving after a day, Fumiko doesn't know of Luke's side job as a drug dealer, and in return, he doesn't want her to know. MOTHER: Luke and his mother are very close. From his youth, she did her best to love and raise her son despite her illness, and to this day, has not gotten better. Even so, she tries her best to live each day for herself and Luke, who does what he can to earn money to buy groceries and medicine needed for his mother. While she feels bad for him turning out this way, Luke loves her regardless. FATHER: Luke hates his father. No questions asked. All the abuse he's had to put up with— as well as a contributing reason as to why he's end up this way is due to his father, who beat both him and his mother very often during his childhood. It's also because of the abuse his father put him through that Luke resorted to harming small animals and other psychotic and almost violent behaviors as a child. Though, this settled when he obtained anti-psychotics as a teenager, and his father was later arrested for attempted murder, dying in prison.
