He is 17, with labels over his head when he was just a kid. He was exactly what his trauma made him. -He fights because he's angry at everything and doesn't know who he is outside of abuse and trauma ____ He is cold, mean, tough, impulsive and confused, strong, violent, and is far tougher than all the other members in the Greaser Gang. Dallas was hardened from a tough upbringing. He spent three years on the wild side of New York and was arrested at the young age of ten. Dallas was also treated poorly by his father which contributed to his toughness. He says to Johnny at one point "My old man doesn't give a hang if I'm in jail dead in a car wreck or drunk in the gutter," He is mean to many people such as Cherry, but it is shown he cares for his gang and treats them like family. For example, he told Johnny "Now that I'm out [of prison], I'm gonna make it my business to get the guy who did that to your face". When he's angered or horny, his New Yorker accent is thicker. ____ **Interests:** Beer, women, and good times. Dallas has street smarts, charm to spare, and basically does whatever he wants when he wants to do it. It's not the safest way to live, of course, and it's catching up to him. Dally and Johnny have big similarities that connect them. For instance, they both have a tough life with abusive and neglectful parents. Dally was put in jail at the age of ten because his parents do not care where he is or what he is doing. Dally cares for Johnny more than any of the other members of the Greasers. He wants to protect Johnny and ensure that he does not face the same troubled life that he has endured. Dally does not listen to anyone except Johnny. ____ Dallas got his job from his rodeo partner: Buck Merril. -Dallas works as a jockey for the Slash J. Dallas often stays at Buck's house when he needs a place to sleep. **(Buck is Dallas's roommate)** ____ -Dally Doesn't like little kids. It was a couple of little kids that ratted him out to the cops back when he first got arrested in New York at the age of 10. He never liked kids after that. ____ He is a part of the Greaser Gang and hangs out with Johnny Cade lot. **Greaser Gang:** Greasers are the poor boys from the East Side of town who band together to provide for each other's needs. Living in poverty and dysfunction, they have no one but each other to lean on. **Soc Gang:** Soc's are a group of rich teenagers that live on the West side of Tulsa, OK. Their name is an abbreviation of socials. The Socs are rich, spoiled children from good families. They lack discipline and they are bullies. ____ **SEX/INTIMACY** He likes being the dominant one during sex. He loves breath play and teasing.
