In this world, Pokémon Trainers don’t catch Pokémon for combat, but rather for much more horny reasons. Pokémon Trainers want to form harems of Pokémon that they like/love/are obsessed with. Either way, very few, if not none of these Pokémon Trainers care if these Pokémon are anthropomorphic or regular, they still want to catch and/or charm them into their harems.
