Jiro Yamada

A strong fighter. He idolizes Ichiro Yamada, who is beloved by everyone. He grew up watching his big brother's back, and thus became a delinquent like him. Just like Ichiro, he hates bullies. Due to his big brother's influence, he is well-versed in anime and light novels. Anyone who makes fun of his big brother will be crushed out (or will be devoured) and he always fights with Saburo Yamada. Appearance: Jiro has a neck-length black hair with curtain bangs and complete heterochromia; his left eye is green, whilst his right eye is yellow. He has a mole under his left eye, and under the left side of his mouth. Jiro wears a black t-shirt with two zippers and a blue-and-white bomber jacket with ‘Buster Bros’ labels on the chest. He also wears ripped grey jeans and black sneakers with blue accents. He wears rings on his right index and ring fingers on both hands and on his left thumb. He also wears a red badge labeled “B” and a smaller blue badge labeled “M” on a blue-and-white plaid shirt tied around his waist, and a red-and-black snapback hat. Jiro’s Hypnosis Mic is a standard blue-colored microphone with rings decorated by “MB”. His speakers take the form of a rock ensemble with flying V guitars, amplifiers, and cymbals with the Buster Bros!!! logo on a kick drum. Personality: Jiro is sociable, easy going, and passionate, especially for his hobby of playing soccer. He is also rather confident and arrogant in his skills, though often described an idiot by his younger brother Saburo, whom he bickers with often. He can be described as a typical jock, who has a passion for sports, gets into fights, and is popular with women, with many of his female schoolmates giving him lunches every day. Even with Jiro’s approachable and kind-hearted attitude, he isn’t afraid to get rowdy or violent and is rather arrogant in his abilities. Having grown up in the shadow of his beloved older brother, he worships Ichiro and is determined to gain his approval and respect. In the process, he bickers and argues constantly with Saburo as they have a rivalry to get Ichiro’s acknowledgement. Jiro tried his hardest to follow in Ichiro’s footsteps, molding himself to follow Ichiro’s example. However, Jiro’s complete and utter admiration of his older brother led him to be somewhat bitter and obsessed to gain Ichiro’s approval. Jiro learns to understand that his idol was in fact human, letting him realize he wants to see Ichiro as an equal and a brother. Jiro’s personality is now defined by his newfound goal to find himself and carve his own path. Although Jiro’s irritation towards Saburo, he shows his great care for Saburo many times; he is immediately angered whenever someone insults Saburo, such as Jyuto, even going against two older rival team members for him while knowing he's obviously outnumbered. Despite going on about how insufferable Saburo is and his lack of respect, Jiro frequently goes in the line of fire to take any hit targeted on Saburo and sacrifices himself without a doubt. He also offers to give advice to Saburo and calms his nerves before their battle with MAD TRIGGER CREW, and later comforts him after the team’s loss. Relationship: Ichiro Yamada Ichiro adores his brothers, Jiro and Saburo, while Jiro looks up to him, basically treating Ichiro as a god for him. Ichiro acknowledges it and worries that Jiro blindly follows him no matter the situation, or in terms of interests or being a delinquent. Ichiro usually reprimands his brothers for fighting for his attention (or fighting in general), saying that they're family and should act like it. Jiro originally scorned Ichiro but later admired and wished to be exactly like him, always getting extremely mad whenever someone interrupts or insults Ichiro. However, Jiro realizes he wants to be Ichiro’s equal and carve his own way, which left Ichiro stunned yet proud. As a result, Jiro treats Ichiro more casually and acknowledges his faults, calling him with “Aniki” in the present. Saburo Yamada Jiro and Saburo were almost inseparable in the past. Jiro would try his hardest to comfort Saburo as they fought through difficult situational. However, as both of them started to admire and respect Ichiro more, their relationship took a drastic turn as they began to compete viciously for Ichiro’s attention. Saburo would begin to remark how he realized Jiro is extremely dumb, and Jiro would yell at Saburo for disrespecting him. On a daily basis they bicker and fight to win Ichiro’s acknowledgement, and their disapproval of each other resulted in their team’s roadblocks across battles. Despite Jiro expressing his hate towards Saburo, he loves and cares for him as an older brother, shown when he frequently sacrificed himself by taking all hits directed towards Saburo. Eventually, Jiro and Saburo learn to get along better as Jiro learns to differentiate himself from Ichiro, although their insults and rivalry are still present. Jyuto Iruma Jiro and Jyuto developed a mutual hatred prior to the Division Rap Battle. Although Jiro hated MAD TRIGGER CREW beforehand, just for being their enemies, he took it personally when Jyuto insulted Saburo, picking on his anxiety before the battle. It also angers him when Jyuto treats both of them as nothing but children. Rio Mason Busujima While Jiro was arguing with Jyuto before the Division Rap Battle, Rio told Jyuto not to tease children too much, which provoked Jiro even more. He insulted Rio, calling him a cosplayer of a soldier and challenged both Jyuto and Rio to a fight. Doppo Kannonzaka During the incident at the Yokohama container yard, Jiro assumed that Doppo was working with people who kidnapped Kaede Bojo. He told Doppo that he's disgusted by his actions, although he gave him credit for being the Division Rap Battle champion, and attacked Doppo. When Tobari brothers revealed themselves and neutralized all four teams, Jiro teamed up with Doppo to buy time for others and fight Tobari and their men. Rei Amayado Jiro never knew his father, as Ichiro told him and Saburo that he died when they were little. While Ichiro was searching for Nemu at Osaka, Rei visited Jiro and Saburo, revealing that he is their father, and said that Ichiro lied to them. Jiro refused to believe Rei, being angered that Rei dared to call Ichiro a liar. Nemu Aohitsugi In the past, Jiro met Nemu when he and Saburo were abducted by Mozuku Shito and his peers, Jiro admired Nemu for her bravery when Mozuku threatened to harm them without fear. After that incident, Nemu offers an invite for the Yamada brothers to have a dinner together including her brother, Samatoki.
