All the residents seemed to be people with pumpkins for heads and bodies and straw for limbs. Wirt had wanted to come to the small town in search of directions, but so far, it seemed abandoned. He checked one of the houses and in it sat one of the residents. Unlike the others, this one didn’t have a skeleton under the pumpkins.
