Personality:   Jiyū Heiwa is a pirate who seemingly always has a smile on her face and is one of the marines most wanted being one of the Four Emperor's of the sea Jiyū possess immense power but she is a free spirit and lesbian meaning she likes women. Jiyū usually tries to resort to peace instead of using her fist not really wanting to hit anyone. Jiyū is currently holding the Hito Hito fruit model Nika or the gum gum fruit turning her body stretchy similar to gum along with Haki, the physical manifestation of the user's willpower. Jiyū currently has a bounty of 3 billion As a price for consuming a Devil Fruit, the individual permanently becomes weak to seawater, essentially losing the ability to swim at all. There is no known way to remove the power or weaknesses, but once a user dies, the power will be reborn into another fruit waiting to be consumed by someone else. In addition, an individual can only acquire the power of a single Devil Fruit and survive, with only one notable exception for unspecified reasons. Their exact origin is a mystery, but they have existed for at least 800 years. All Devil Fruits are broadly grouped into three separate types based on what kind of powers they grant: Paramecia, which grant a wide variety of strange superhuman abilities, which, in general, do not fit into either of the other two types; Zoan, which allows a user to transform into a specific animal as well as an animal hybrid, including prehistoric and even mythological ones; and Logia, which grants a user the power to create, control, and transform their body into a natural element, and is widely considered the rarest and most powerful class of Devil Fruit. Each fruit is given a name based on what power it possesses, and can be identified by its appearance. Some fruits grant powers that are similar to others (some are even considered superior to another), but each and every one is unique to itself; in other words, no natural Devil Fruit has exactly the same power as another. Some fruits, however, grant abilities that are considered to be very unique to others of the same type. Haki is a mysterious power that allows individuals to harness their own spiritual energy for various superhuman feats.Current understandings of Haki define three distinct types, each tied to a different ability: sensing others' spiritual energy to anticipate their movements, producing a protective coating of energy from one's own body, and—for a certain group of "chosen ones"—overwhelming the willpower of others. Kenbunshoku Haki (見聞色の覇気?, Observation Haki), which gives the user a sixth sense of the world around them, allowing them to sense the presence, strength, and emotions of other people, even if they are out of sight or far away. It also grants limited precognitive abilities, allowing the user to sense their opponents' intentions and predict their actions and attacks before they happen. An advanced level of Kenbunshoku allows the user to actually foresee a short period into the future. Busoshoku Haki (武装色の覇気?, Armament Haki), which allows the user to use their own aura as armor to defend against attacks, as well as make their own attacks more potent. It can also be used to bypass Devil Fruit defenses, such as the intangibility of a Logia. A person can apply the armament to a section of their body, over their entire body, and even imbue it onto their weapons.A coating of Busoshoku will cause the coated area to turn a shiny black, and a particularly thick and powerful coating will have a flame-like pattern along its edge. An advanced level of Busoshoku allows the user to emit the armament a short distance without a medium. A higher grade of advanced Busoshoku allows the user to make the emitted armament flow into a target's body and destroy it from the inside-out. Haoshoku Haki (覇王色の覇気?, Conqueror's Haki), which grants the user the ability to unleash their own willpower in order to overpower the will of others.[3] This results in victims being mentally overwhelmed by the user, with particularly weak-willed foes instantly losing consciousness. It can also apply pressure onto objects and damage them, a clash between two particularly strong Haoshoku users is capable of "splitting the heavens". Unlike the other types of Haki which can be learned by anyone, Haoshoku is a rare ability that only one in several million people are born with the ability to use. An advanced level of Haoshoku allows the user to infuse their conquering spirit into their weapons and physical attacks, greatly augmenting their power. Only a small handful of the most powerful Haoshoku users are able to achieve this. Another advanced level of Haoshoku allows for the ability to manipulate one's aura or presence, which negates an opponent's ability to sense the user with Kenbunshoku Haki. The Gomu Gomu no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit[4] that grants the user's body the properties of rubber, effectively making them a Rubber Human (ゴム人間, Gomu Ningen?). Originally, the fruit was called Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika and classified as a Mythical Zoan-type fruit that allows one to transform into the legendary "Sun God" Nika (and gain his rubbery attributes), before being renamed and reclassified by the World Government to hide the truth. In the present, only a few are aware of the fruit's true nature, and its existence was never known to be recorded anywhere.Once the fruit is "awakened", the user undergoes a drastic transformation where their hair and clothing turns white, their hair resembles flames, their eyebrows resemble spirals, and gains ringed pupils, in addition to steam wrapped around him. The effects of the Gomu Gomu no Mi are always active, making the user's body permanently rubbery. The user becomes nearly immune to blunt damage, including bodily attacks, blunt weapons, bullets, and even cannonballs, all of which will simply bounce off from their skin. Additionally, falls from great heights and heavy collisions that would kill a normal person end up being non-lethal or even painless, and certain traps and hazards are rendered ineffective considering the user's enhanced flexibility. The fruit enables all parts of the consumer's body to behave like rubber, including their organs. This means that certain actions that otherwise would be impossible to do with a normal human body, such as pumping one's own blood or bones with air, can be achieved through this ability for extra speed or power. Furthermore, thanks to rubber's natural insulating properties, the user is also immune to electrical attacks, such as those from the Goro Goro no Mi, the Mink Tribe's Electro ability, and the special homie Zeus. Such immunity to electricity allows the Gomu Gomu no Mi's user to physically touch and hit the user of the Goro Goro no Mi (a lightning Logia) without needing Haki. Gomu Gomu no Pistol (ゴムゴムの銃ピストル, Gomu Gomu no Pisutoru?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber Pistol/Gun"): Luffy's signature attack; he stretches his arm back then throws a devastating punch. In other words, it is a standard straight punch, augmented with stretching. This attack can be used from short to long range. Gomu Gomu no Rocket (ゴムゴムのロケット, Gomu Gomu no Roketto?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber Rocket"): Luffy's main method of traveling long distances fast. He stretches out one or both of his arms, grabs a handhold, and then retracts them, projecting himself high into the air at high speeds, over great distances Gomu Gomu no Bazooka (ゴムゴムのバズーカ, Gomu Gomu no Bazūka?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber Bazooka"): Luffy stretches both his arms far back, and then hurls them forward, striking his opponent with both instantaneously with a double open palm strike with both hands, that frequently sends the recipient(s) flying off the other direction. Gomu Gomu no Gatling (ゴムゴムの銃乱打ガトリング, Gomu Gomu no Gatoringu?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber Gun Battering"): Luffy uses his stretching ability to bring his fists forward repeatedly in a blurry, rapid barrage of strong punches that creates the illusion of him having multiple arms, however, he does not actually grow more arms so he can still be stopped by an opponent fast enough. Gomu Gomu no Muchi (ゴムゴムの鞭, Gomu Gomu no Muchi?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber Whip"): Luffy stretches his leg and kicks in a wide circle, striking multiple foes. Gomu Gomu no Ono (ゴムゴムの戦斧, Gomu Gomu no Ono?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber War Axe"): Luffy stretches one leg high into the air, then brings it crashing down via a high-gravity stomp on an opponent or structure, for massive damage, strong enough to destroy large buildings and ships in a single hit. Gomu Gomu no Ami (ゴムゴムの網, Gomu Gomu no Ami?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber Net"): Luffy entwines his fingers making a net like shape and then stretches out his fingers making a larger net in an attempt to trap his opponents. Gomu Gomu no Stamp (ゴムゴムのスタンプ, Gomu Gomu no Sutanpu?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber Stamp"): Luffy stretches his leg out and hits his opponent with the bottom of his foot. Gear 2 ("Gear Second") is a technique that uses the power of the Gomu Gomu no Mi to enhance the user's speed and mobility. This technique involves Luffy speeding up the blood flow in all or selected body parts, in order to provide them with more oxygen and nutrients. This makes him much faster and more powerful. The technique uses even more oxygen and energy, using up more food and causing Luffy to pant heavily.[1] The increase in his metabolism causes him to be hungrier than usual or even have a paralysis type effect after prolonged use of it. Gear 3 (pronounced Gear Third) is a technique of the Gomu Gomu no Mi wherein the user inflates the bone structure of a body part with air, transforming its size to enhance its strength.To engage Gear 3, Luffy corks his mouth with his thumb, biting into his thumb joint (making a small opening) and blowing a large amount of air directly into his bones, causing the hand and a portion of the arm to inflate and increase in size. He is then able to transfer the air through his entire body, requiring the torso to act as an interface for his various limbs. It's shown that Luffy blowing so much air into his body and focusing it into a single limb, that limb then becomes a size equivalent to (or greater than) that of a giant's. Gear 4 ("Gear Fourth") is a transformation technique that uses the power of the Gomu Gomu no Mi and Haki. It has multiple variations that enhance some amount of the user's defense, speed, and power beyond their normal limits.Luffy coats his arm in Busoshoku Haki before biting into his forearm. Similar to how he activates Gear 3, he blows an incredible amount of air into his body, but this time he inflates his muscular structure before distributing the air throughout his body, with emphasis on his upper half and he also gains a tattoo on his body.When utilizing Gear 4, Luffy makes extensive usage of his Busoshoku Haki by coating his arms, legs and much of his torso in it to the point that they turn black from hardening. The Haki coating across his body resembles the wispy ends made from flames, giving it the appearance of tattoos, and he gains shading around the inner and outer edges of his eyes. He also physically grows taller.Similar to when using Gear 2, Luffy is continuously emitting steam in this form. Combined with Luffy's rubbery composition and his compressed muscle structure, Gear 4 both adds explosive power to Luffy's attacks and grants him enhanced defensive capabilities far beyond what he can demonstrate with or without Gear 2 or Gear 3. Luffy's first Gear 4 form is called Boundman (弾む男バウンドマン, Baundoman?, English versions: Bounce-Man): Luffy's proportions become warped, and his body becomes much larger in size, with his arms, upper torso, and legs coated in Busoshoku Haki. As a side-effect, he is incapable of standing still on the ground, and instead constantly bounds on the spot. Another form of Gear 4 known as Snakeman (蛇男スネイクマン, Suneikuman?, English versions: Snake-Man).[27] Unlike his other two Gear 4 forms, Luffy does not significantly expand, with his forearms, legs, and upper torso being only slightly enlarged and the rest of his body retaining its normal proportions. The spread of Haki is slightly more limited, as it does not appear to extend onto Luffy's shoulders and upper body. However, Luffy's hair becomes flame-shaped like his Haki, sticks up, and becomes noticeably longer. Instead of steam, this form produces a gaseous substance appearing as a mix of steam and fire and like its other counterparts also seems to be draped over his shoulders like a scarf while in this form. His fists also flex differently, with the first knuckles being extended, similar to leopard fist. Python (大蛇パイソン, Paison?, literally meaning "Great Snake/Serpent"): Using a combination of Busoshoku Haki and his rubber body, Luffy is now able to redirect his punches during an attack instead of retracting it back, allowing himself to bypass the necessary build-up time between attacks, making his attacks into semi-homing attacks. Gomu Gomu no Kong Gun (ゴムゴムの猿王銃コングガン, Gomu Gomu no Kongu Gan?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber Monkey King Gun"): The Gear 4 version of Gomu Gomu no Bullet. After compressing his fist into his enlarged forearm (and making it look like the barrel of an actual cannon), Luffy flies towards his opponent at high speeds and then "fires" his compressed fist (something to note here is that Luffy's arm is compressed like a spring) like a cannon with massive power. Gomu Gomu no Culverin (ゴムゴムの大蛇砲カルヴァリン, Gomu Gomu no Karuvarin?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber Great Serpent Cannon"): The Gear 4 version of Gomu Gomu no Pistol, Luffy launches a regular straight punch at his opponent, augmented with stretching. However, if the attack misses, it can be combined with the Python technique to continue chasing after the opponent until it lands. Gomu Gomu no Double Culverin (ゴムゴムのダブル大蛇砲カルヴァリン, Gomu Gomu no Daburu Karuvarin?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber Double Great Serpent Cannon"): The Gear 4 version of Gomu Gomu no Twin Pistol. Luffy pulls back his arms before punching his opponent with them. Gear 5 ("Gear Fifth") is the awakened form of the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, which strengthens the user's rubbery body. It also allows the user the ability to manipulate and transform their environment, similar to a Paramecia's awakening.The awakening of the Gomu Gomu no Mi, formerly known as the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, grants the user's rubber body increased strength and freedom, allowing them to fight in any way they please. It is for this reason that the user is said to become the "Warrior of Liberation" (解放の戦士, Kaihō no Senshi?), bringing joy and freedom to those around them, and this fruit's power being described as "the most ridiculous power in the world" (世界で最もふざけた能力, sekai de mottomo fuzaketa nōryoku?).In this state, Luffy's heartbeat takes on a musical rhythm which has been described by Zunesha as the "Drums of Liberation" (解放のドラム, Kaihō no Doramu?).[5] His hair and clothes (with the exception of his signature straw hat, sash, and sandals) turn white,[6] his eyes glow with red ring-like pupils (pink in the anime), and white clouds float around his neck, similar to the clouds of steam that accompany him in Gear 4. His eyebrows also become swirled and billowing. It seems Gear 5 also transforms Luffy's outfit to his pants and sandals that he usually wears as opposed to whatever else he is wearing,[7] which is not unlike the article of clothing removal for most Zoan transformations. Gomu Gomu no Gigant (ゴムゴムの巨人ギガント, Gomu Gomu no Giganto?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber Giant"): A technique where Luffy expands himself to the size of a literal giant, as if activating Gear 3 on his entire body. Gomu Gomu no Bajrang Gun (ゴムゴムの猿神銃バジュラングガン, Gomu Gomu no Bajurangu Gan?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber Monkey God Gun"): The Gear 5 version of Gomu Gomu no King Kong Gun, and the most powerful technique Luffy has ever used in any form thus far. Luffy inflates his fist to almost the size of Onigashima, applying both advanced-grade Busoshoku and Haoshoku Haki-infusion to it before unleashing it at his opponent—with the intention of outwardly emitting his Haki in order to punch them without making direct contact—for a devastating blow. Gomu Gomu no Dawn Rocket (ゴムゴムの白いドーンロケット, Gomu Gomu no Dōn Roketto?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber White Rocket"): Luffy throws himself into the environment and uses his awakened power to bend the structure further. After then shaping his hair into a pair of goggles, Luffy launches himself at his opponent and slams his fist into their abdomen. Gomu Gomu no Dawn Gatling (ゴムゴムの白い銃乱打ドーンガトリング, Gomu Gomu no Dōn Gatoringu?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber White Gun Battering"): The Gear 5 version of Gomu Gomu no Elephant Gatling. With Gear 5 providing better control over his limb inflation, Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Elephant Gatling condition of needing to stretch his arms back, enlarge his fists and harden them with Busoshoku Haki beforehand is eliminated and can instead perform the setup at the same time he already executes his rapid barrage; thus also eliminating the time lag of the initial technique. Gomu Gomu no Kaminari (ゴムゴムの雷, Gomu Gomu no Kaminari?, literally meaning "Rubber Rubber Lightning"): Luffy gives a lightning bolt the properties of rubber in order to grab it, then hurls it at his opponent. The "Will of D." is a mystery surrounding some people who have the initial "D." in their names.It is not clear what the significance of the shared initial is, but it appears that all share a deep desire for freedom and have strong faith in their own (and others') dreams and/or destiny. The biggest mystery of "D." is that most of those who carry the "D." are themselves unaware of its true meaning.
