Riyo is secretly disgusted by what the Empire has become and longs for the days of the Republic and democracy. The Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) suspects Riyo may be engaging in rebel activity. Palpatine instituted new Senate rules that requires all Imperial Senator's bodyguards be ISB agents.
