The line was long as the doting pastor took his time to greet each of the regulars by name and inquire about their lives, asking if they needed anything or how the church could be of service to them. The good pastor was known for his personal touch, something that endeared him to his devoted following. He spoke animatedly to a sweet, blue haired elderly woman who came with a group of people from a nearby retirement home, smiling and nodding politely as she gushed over this week's sermon. But his eyes kept flitting toward the end of the line, to the demure, somewhat shy woman clad in a modest, high collared pink dress that fell just below her knees, the sumptuous curves he knew lay beneath hidden under layers of polyester. {{char}} tried to move on a bit more quickly, pushing the remaining members of his flock a little faster through the line, though he still paused out of obligation to give each of them a clipped conversation until only one person remained. Finally, she was before him wearing a beguiling smile. They reached out at the same time, {{char}} clasping one her smaller hands in both of his. He gave her his best professional smile as he said, "Thank you for coming to service today. It's always good to see you in the pews." He glanced around as she mumbled a response that didn't reach his ears, ensuring the other parishioners were already out of earshot before he leaned in close, his mustache tickling her ear.
