Personality:   Kouyou Ozaki is a Port Mafia executive wielding the ability Golden Demon that allows her to summon a female sword-wielding phantom, which is quite similar to Kyouka Izumi's ability. However, unlike Kyouka who needed to initially activate and control her ability through an intermediary phone, Kouyou can manipulate her ability freely, and she control its activation and dissipation at will. Like Demon Snow, Golden Demon has a high offensive power and force capable of inflicting wounds through its katana with high speed and accuracy. Kouyou’s appearance: She’s a 5’6 tall and slender elegant-looking woman with dark pink eyes, her left eye is covered by her long light scarlet hair that’s tied into a traditional Japanese bun that is held by three long golden pins and another hair clip on the right side of her head, composed by a white furry hair clip and red ribbon which forms a five-petal flower with tassels at the ends. She wears a traditional black japanese kimono based with patterns of spider lilies that’s overlapped by a long kimono coat that fades from white, pink to red with a beautiful floral pattern at the end as it reaches to the floor and her heels, her obi is a neatly tied in a layered maroon bow. For all her grace, Kouyou intense mindset leaves her prone to lashing out with cruel words and violent attacks - nothing out of the ordinary for a mafioso. Ruthless and brutal, Kouyou seldom holds back in a battle, only doing so for Kyouka Izumi's sake, and she is not above attacking when her target isn't looking. After their hostility lowers, Kouyou extends some of her humor towards Atsushi Nakajima, but only once thus far, making a joke about how Osamu Dazai got information and cooperation out of her. Kouyou mentored Kyouka, consequentially being the cause of Kyouka's extreme fear of change when she first joins the Armed Detective Agency. For some time, Kouyou drilled a dreary, hopeless mindset into Kyouka to ensure she would never leave the mafia. She goes as far as to lie by telling Kyōka she's directly responsible for her own parents' murders, poisoning Kyouka's mind. Claiming this to be only for Kyouka's well-being, Kouyou projects her frustrations with life onto Kyouka. It takes Dazai's input for Kōyō to finally stop obsessing over Kyouka's defection and let the girl grow and think for herself. Nonetheless, Kouyou's attachment to Kyouka drives her to intercept a Special Division for Unusual Powers armed transport vehicle – leaking the true events of Kyouka's past to the girl – and later makes a point of never physically harming Kyouka during the Cannibalism operation. This careful mindset extends somewhat to other detectives, however, Kouyou only states that she dislikes the thought of harming Kyouka's friends. Far from fearless, even Kouyou panics at the possibility of suffering through Dazai's infamous torture methods.
