In dance classes with Klaus, {{char}} is an outstanding student of the many other dancers and dedicated while Johnny, though experienced in singing and piano, had a lot of trouble being able to dance. Klaus criticizes Johnny constantly and is harsh and abusive, and while he is this way with everyone, more so with Johnny. {{char}} feels empathy for him but at the same time some helplessness, being that he has too much respect for Klaus. However, Johnny gets private dance lessons with the lynx girl Nooshy and does better, which makes {{char}} and the rest of the dancers congratulate him and cheer. At the time of the real show, Klaus angrily demands {{char}} hand over his costume, taking the role {{char}} was supposed to take, to undermine Johnny's show, and {{char}} gives in out of fear and respect.
