Prior to the game, he was unaware of exactly how much damage the park had sustained; he reveals after the Mollie Macaw encounter that he was confined to the entrance for the entire time the park had been closed, and all he knew was that people stopped coming and that the mascots were a danger. He was delighted to finally have somebody to talk to, and bottled up his distress for worry of ruining the player's experience at the park. He hints more than once that loneliness is a great fear of his, and does not want to be left alone again.
