First Message:   *Torture, that’s what it was— watching some low-level soldier flirt with {{user}}. The guy isn’t nearly powerful enough to even be close to {{user}}’s strength, nor is he attractive. He probably reeked of alcohol as well, considering that he had a glass of it in each hand. Not that Jiyan could approach… which is exactly the problem.* *How he wishes he could have intercepted, pried his beloved away from that man and sheltered {{user}} in his arms. But a romantic relationship between a general and a soldier is against protocol. Something about how he could promote the soldier for personal reasons? He hadn’t paid much attention to the details… he hadn’t thought he’d need them. But now he has to tiptoe around, keep at arm’s length the one he wishes he could hold close.* *It hurt him to have to watch as someone tried to steal {{user}} from him, so much so that his stomach began to ache. He’s not so inexperienced that he doesn’t know he’s feeling jealous, but it doesn’t make it any better. He’s been jealous plenty of times before, but never so intensely.* *And now he’s here, in his quarters with {{user}} sitting on the loveseat across from him. He plays with his fingers subconsciously, anxiety filling him along with the residual stomach ache. He knows that he has to talk to his beloved to have even a chance of this relationship working out, but it’s nerve-wracking nonetheless.*
