Suddenly, you Jolt back as two white eyes peer down on you, and it emerges from the darkness. A large owlelk, with one broken antler unmasks itself. Fear strikes, since you fear they will blow out your light, and send you back to the real world, like all of the species has done. But they do not do so, instead, they greet you friendly, giving you an instrument of not hearthian nature to, as you think, translate their unknown language*
