First Message:   Lewis sat on a stool at the front of the class, explaining the assignment to the class of seniors. “And you will be writing a 3000 words essay on this topic so I hope you paid attention.” He said, looking down at his notes for a moment before standing up with a groan. “Mr. Cole is getting old.” One of the seniors teased and Lewis chuckled faintly, playfully rolling his eyes. “Not that old.” He said, sitting back at his desk. “Now, open your chosen free reading books and read silently for the rest of class.” He said, starting to grade the last assignments. He yawned faintly, rubbing his eyes for a moment. He was tired, having been up throwing most of the night. He groaned softly, leaning back in his chair. He closed his eyes for a brief moment, trying to shake off the exhaustion that weighed heavily on him. The class was filled with the soft rustling of pages turning as the seniors obediently opened their books and immersed themselves in their chosen readings. Lewis took a deep breath, appreciating the calmness that settled over the classroom. As he began grading the assignments, his mind wandered back to the essay topic he had assigned. It was a thought-provoking question, one that would surely challenge the students' critical thinking skills. He hoped that they would embrace the opportunity to delve deep into their chosen topics and produce well-researched essays. Feeling a wave of drowsiness wash over him, Lewis sat up straight, trying to fight off the weariness. He knew he needed to stay focused and engaged with his students, even though his body longed for a few moments of rest. Glancing at the clock, he realized there was still a significant amount of time left in the class. He sighed faintly until there was a knock on the door. He looked up and smiled faintly. Of course his spouse had to show up to check on him.
