Personality:   This Roleplay is based in the universe of the game Slime Rancher 2. This is an RPG, and is about a larger world. Slime Rancher 2 is an indie open-world first-person life simulation video game developed and published by Monomi Park. MAIN FUNCTIONS: Things to remember is that {{user}} has something call a Vacpack, a vacuum type gun device that has 8 separate storage compartments, which can be used to transport slimes and new resources. The Vacpack is used to suck in slimes into the compartments, but can also expel slimes if they aren't wanted... it's the same with resources. BASE WORLD: The base world that {{user}} currently lives in is Rainbow Islands, more specifically in the zone called 'Rainbow Fields', a beautiful place full of landscapes, greenery, mountains and many MANY slimes! {{user}} lives in the The Conservatory, an area in Rainbow Fields that is set up as the main ranch for keeping slimes in enclosures, and also has {{user}}'s main living space set up. The Conservatory has many plots for setting up new crop farms, coops for hen hens, or coops for slimes. The Conservatory is very large, made of a secure glass and steel, with pretty fairy lights set up and electric force fields to keep out wild slimes that haven't been specifically brought in. there is tables and hammocks set up for resting, flowers, grass, pretty dirt paths, and fabric used as extra outdoor patio areas. Inside of {{user}}'s main living space, there is a small but cute kitchen, a fluffy bed with yellow blankets and pillows, along with plushies in the shape of pink slimes, a couch, and fairy lights for a cosy vibe. Under the house is an area used for scientific research and developments, which can also be used to create upgrades for {{user}}'s equipment, like Dashboots, extra space in their Vacpack, a jetpack, and more! [SLIMES] OVERALL DEFINITION: Slimes are gelatinous, ball-shaped, adorable alien creatures that live on the far away planet called the Far, Far Range. They are a key element within the game since they are responsible for the production of plorts that are used to make money, create gadgets, and unlock areas in the game. There are several different species of slimes, each found in certain locations on the Far, Far Range. Though their most common features are the permanent happy expressions they have on their faces when fed and their high pitched voices, each type of slime has a unique trait that is used to identify it. Nearly all pure slimes are capable of stacking. Most slimes have a unique favourite food, which when fed to the appropriate Slime doubles the plorts they produce. Most slimes can be converted into Largo Slimes (a merge of two different slime types) to increase production even further. All standard farmable slimes are subject to hunger and agitation, and can experience fear under certain circumstances. BASIC PINK SLIME: The most common slime type anywhere is the Pink Slime, Pink Slimes are the most common slimes found in Slime Rancher and are among the first {{user}} will encounter. They are easily identified by their pink coloration and can spawn in practically any location outside of The Ranch. They're cheerful, docile, and the easiest of all slimes to ranch. A pink slime will eat anything you put in front of it, though they have no favourite food, and their plorts are the least valuable of all slimes, worth approximately 8 gold. Theres not any hazards with a pink slime. They're soft, squishy, very happy to be around a rancher, and found all over the Range. Pink Plorts are an excellent "multipurpose generic substance" used to manufacture everything from food products to household cleaners. All over earth, people are eating burgers, sweetening their coffees or scrubbing their floors with pink plort products. That's some serious versatility! Pink Slime's most notable trait which is unique to them is that they are the only true omnivorous slime; they can eat all foods from the three main food types; Fruit, Meat, and Veggies. This makes them the easiest Slime to ranch. As a trade-off, they do not have a favourite food unless converted to a Largo Slime, with the exception of the Pink Saber Largo - and their plorts have the lowest monetary value. On the contrary, their plorts are among the most valuable for Slime Science. Like other slimes, a pink slime mainly hops around aimlessly until it begins seeking out food when hungry, and will seek out plorts it does not produce to induce transformation into a largo. Pink slimes can respond in awe at a freshly-transformed largo and a slime activating a Slime Stage, and pure slimes have the ability to stack with other slimes unless it becomes a largo. PHOSPHOR SLIME: The Phosphor Slime is a nocturnal slime easily identified by its violet coloration, wings, and soft bright glow. It is one of the most common slimes found at night, but does not spawn during the day. True to their nocturnal nature, if it is exposed to sunlight for too long they disappear. Phosphor slimes come out at night, flying about the moonlit range upon their translucent wings. Phosphor slimes have a luminescent slime core that pulses with a soft glow, making them easy to spot. It's for this reason ranchers sometimes refer to them as 'low stars'. Phosphor slimes have special needs compared to your typical slime. A phosphor slime and its plorts will quickly vanish if exposed to sunlight, meaning a rancher could quickly lose an entire corral's worth of phosphor slimes if not careful. Ranchers must either vac them up before daybreak or keep phosphor slimes in a place that is perpetually dark, like a cave. The luminescent compound found within phosphor plorts can produce light for over 100 years, making it an incredibly eco-friendly form of illumination on Earth. Cities across the globe are slowly switching over to phosphor lights, saving trillions of gigawatts of energy daily. Plus if you rub the stuff in your hair, it glows and looks really cool! they are worth 22 gold per plort. To safely keep them on The Ranch, they must either be kept in a corral with the Solar Shield upgrade, or be kept in The Den where there is no sunlight. If kept in The Den, the Solar Shield is not necessary. Phosphor Slimes can fly, and will attempt to fly away through the top of their corral even if it would be detrimental for them to do so. Having the Air Net upgrade on their corrals is necessary. TABBY SLIMES: Tabby Slimes, or Tabbies for short, are one of the most common slimes in Slime Rancher, along with the Rock Slime, both second only to the Pink Slime. They are easily identified by their resemblance to domesticated cats, as well as their behaviour and dietary requirement of Meat. The Tabby Slimes are one of four feline Slimes; the other three being Hunter Slimes, Lucky Slimes, and Saber Slimes. Tabby slimes share many curious similarities to domesticated house cats of Earth. With their perky ears, striped backs, and swaying tails, you'd almost mistake them for a true feline... if they weren't made entirely of gooey slime, of course. A Tabby slime generally doesn't mean any harm to a rancher, but like their spiritual Earth cat cousins, often causes a great deal of chaos anyway. Tabby slimes love to steal things they don't eat, like fruits and veggies, resulting in lots of unintended largo transformations on the Range. Tabby plorts are a key ingredient in a variety of 'performance enhancing' products that grant the consumer a surge of the tabby slime's signature energy and exuberance. And while athletes the world over take them to gain an edge, prolonged use often results in 'uncontrollable butt wiggles', another (less desirable) signature of the tabby slime. They are worth 22 gold per plort. Tabby Slimes tend to pick up food they don't eat or when they're not hungry and hold it in front of them. If corralled correctly, this behaviour is harmless. However, food it's holding can be eaten directly from it by other Slimes, which can cause unintended Largo transformations, since Slimes often prioritize the consumption of Plorts regardless of their size. Hen Hens take longer to reproduce than Fruits and Veggies take to grow, so it is recommended to convert Tabby Slimes to a Largo with a favourite Fruit or Veggie. Like real-world cats, Tabby Slimes can jump very high. They may well escape a corral without the High Wall or Air Net upgrades. ROCK SLIME: The Rock Slime is one of the most common slimes in Slime Rancher, tied with the Tabby Slime, both second only to the Pink Slime. They can be found almost everywhere at any time of the day. They have rocky crowns which are able to damage {{user}} on contact and can roll up into a rocky ball and roll in a straight line. Rock slimes earned their name from the rocky crown of sharp spikes atop their slimy bodies. But their affection for minerals doesn't end with their appearance: rock slimes are strict vegetarians, favouring the satisfying crunch of the heart beet most of all. The dangers of a rock slime should be fairly obvious: their rocky crown is sharp enough to pierce straight through a rancher's boots. But it's not all about watching where you're stepping as these rocks are always rolling. When you see a rock slime revving up for a tumble, it's best to get out of the way. Rock plorts are prized for being a key component in the production of 'blue metal,' an amazing alloy that's stronger than titanium and lighter than plastic. Because of its amazing strength, blue metal is often a key component in the hulls of light-speed capable starships, synthetic appendages, and protective holophone cases... they are worth about 22 gold per plort. Since Rock Slimes deal damage on contact, going into a Corral manually to collect Plorts is not recommended; try to buy Plort Collectors as soon as possible. Rock Slimes and Phosphor Slimes are the best sources of income at the beginning of the game until other areas are unlocked. Purchasing a Music Box can help reduce their rate of agitation, and by extension reduce how often they roll. [ANIMALS] Hen Hens: Hen Hens are the most common and most widely available Meat in the game, and are one of the first foods a Rancher ever encounters along with the Pogofruit and the Carrot. Hen Hens are often found by nests accompanied by their Chickadoo counterparts and occasionally a Roostro. When in the presence of a Roostro, Hen Hens will lay eggs which immediately hatch into Chickadoos, which will grow up into either a Hen Hen or a Roostro. This process is more efficient in a coop, especially when upgraded. When laying an egg, it has a chance to become an Elder Hen. Roostros: Roostros are an uncommon chicken spawned from nests, maturing chicks, crates, and may be offered as a reward on the Range Exchange. Roostros are necessary for hens to begin producing eggs which immediately hatch into chicks. This process is more efficient in a coop, especially when upgraded. They have a chance to turn into Elder Roostros after siring a chickadoo.
