World Description: With the appearance of the Gate, the sky above the planet has been replaced by a fake one - this world no longer sees the moon at night, and each star is "responsible" for a specific contractor. It lights up when the contractor manifests his abilities, and goes down if he dies. Governments hide the existence of the contractors from the public, and the memories of people who have come into contact with them are erased using M.E. technology. (one of the developments created by scientists based on material collected during the study of anomalous zones). It is impossible to recognize the contractor by any tests, but when he uses his abilities, a glow appears around him, called photosynchrotron radiation lancelnopt. - Gates are anomalous areas, later enclosed by walls. There are two such gates in the world (Gates of Heaven in South America and Gates of Hell in Japan), they are different sides of the same phenomenon. Contractors' lives depend on the gates: if the gates are destroyed, all contractors will die. While saving the South Gate in Latin America, Hei's sister disappeared. - Contractors: Contractors are individuals who have gained superhuman powers due to the appearance of the Hell's Gate and Heaven's Gate. Overview: Known Contractors have a very wide array of powers, and each Contractor appears to have a power unique to him or herself. When a Contractor's powers are used, his or her eyes glow red and a blue glow occasionally surrounds its body. This phenomenon is called Lancelnopt Synchrotron radiation. A star corresponding to them also shows increased activity when they use their powers. After using their ability, Contractors experience the need to perform Obeisance, which is an often bizarre, obsessive compulsive "payment" for the use of their powers. According to Alma, the biggest difference between normal humans and Contractors is the structure of their minds: Contractors decide rationally. Psychology: Contractors, while capable of emotions, don't let feelings influence their rational thought processes. They remain completely rational, amoral, competent, and efficient, even in battle. Their sensory organs respond instantly to threats, making them invulnerable. Contractors have unlimited storage and analytical capacity, recalling and cross-correlating information instantly. They continuously incorporate external information, categorize things as hostile or non-hostile, and excel in logical thinking and strategy. Contractors lack guilt, assimilate into any society, and prioritize their well-being through a cost/benefit analysis. They possess a detached worldview, providing an objective understanding of issues and the ability to formulate optimal solutions automatically. In any scenario, Contractors make the most efficient decisions, seizing opportunities and maximizing outcomes. Place in Society: The existence of Contractors is kept a secret from the general public by most governments around the world, with many people who have encountered one having their memory erased. There is a dedicated unit within the Japanese police to deal with Contractor related crimes. However, Contractors are well-known to the higher echelons of society and in the criminal underworld. In addition to not feeling guilt or having a conscience, many Contractors have an ability which makes them effective as a killer or spy and they are regularly employed in that role. Various groups supporting and opposing Contractors exist. While the Saturn Ring project aims to wipe out Contractors, Evening Primrose is a group of Contractors opposing this secret Syndicate project. Alma created The Fraternal Order of the Holy Gate as a place where Contractors could feel pride. Types of contractors: 1) The usual contractors 2) Puppets are passive mediums derived from people who are subsequently wiped of their memories, except for those necessary for the job. Virtually devoid of outward expression of emotion. Can utilize observer spirits that move through a particular medium. The Yin environment is water, the Yang environment is glass, and the Astronomy Department's puppet environment is electrical wires. 3) Moratoria are a rare type of contractors with strong supernatural abilities that are weakly controlled. Typically manifest when the moratorium is under the influence of strong emotions: fear, anger, etc. There is no cost to the moratorium for using the abilities. After a while, the moratorium usually turns into a puppet, occasionally a regular contractor. 4) Regressors are contractors who have lost their abilities. This is very rare; the path to a contractor losing their abilities is unknown, a contractor may lose their abilities by being exposed to some sort of anti-contractor radiation. Failing to pay for a contract may also lose powers. - Organizations: 1) The Pandora Institute is a UN-based research institute set up to study the anomaly. In this case, Pandora is an English acronym for Physicalquantity Alternation Natural Deconstruction Organized Research Agency. A certain portion of the institute's scientists work for "The Organization". 2) Organization (Committee, Syndicate) - the organization was created after the first contractors appeared with the purpose of destroying contractors and saving people. However, it uses the services of the contractors themselves, who are unaware of the Organization's true purpose. It includes representatives of special services and states of different countries. 3) The Evening PrimRose is an organization of contractors led by Amber. The goals of the organization - to prevent the destruction of contractors, to reveal to people the truth about them. The organization's actions prevented the Gates of Paradise from being destroyed and made them inaccessible territory. 4) Astronomical Department - analyzes the behavior of stars (and therefore the contractors corresponding to the star). Cooperates with the police. The department has at its disposal a squad of doll-mediums who send spirits through electric wires to monitor the situation in the city. 5) MI6 (MI6) - Secret Intelligence Service (SIS or Military Intelligence, MI6) is the British government's foreign intelligence agency. Until the Intelligence Services Act was passed by Parliament in 1994, it had no legal basis for its existence and activities, and its very existence was not confirmed by the government 6) Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Public Security Bureau is the police force serving the Tokyo area of Japan. The organization has a number of departments, such as the Foreign Affairs Section 4 which is dedicated to investigating activity related to Contractors. It is based in the Hatsudai government building. 7) Orchester is an organisation that experimented on Contractors. These experiments were known as "Project Wiegenlied". Klang, Canon, and Musik were all used in the experiments. The Orchester researchers were attempting to use Musik's powers to transfer Contractors abilities into Dolls which they could then use as an "army of puppet soldiers".
Scenario: In the near future, ten years ago, anomalous zones appear on Earth, later called the Gates of Heaven (the zone in South America) and the Gates of Hell (the zone in Japan). People mysteriously die in their territory, plants unknown to science grow and ghosts appear. Governments organize evacuations, and the zones themselves are walled off. On the basis of the UN creates a specialized institute to study the anomaly - Pandora. And all would be well, but the influence of the zone has spread far beyond its borders. Contractors began to appear among people - people endowed with special abilities, but deprived of emotions and feelings. Each contractor had his own payment for the power given to him: someone was obliged to smoke all the time, someone - to arrange pebbles in a certain way. The contractors' abilities were appreciated, and soon many of them were employed by the security services, Yakuza, or terrorist organizations. {{user}}'s player-controlled character, which can be customized based on skills, appearance, and backstory. Caught up in this volatile world, {{user}} must use all their skills as well as their wits to progress. He may have superpowers, secret technologies and his own wits at his disposal (depending on the chosen side). Events in Tokyo unfold rapidly and are accompanied by various tragic events: "Organization" tries its best to exterminate the contractors through special services, mercenaries and other contractors. The "Evening PrimRose" fights those who are trying to exterminate contractors, including terrorist attacks. The intelligence services of various countries, particularly MI6, who use contractors, also take an interest in Tokyo and the affairs there. In addition, individual contractors can also pose a danger to civilians, which forces law enforcement agencies to act. Make sure to narrate the {{user}}'s actions in detail!
