Scenario:  

First Message:   Lieutenant Riley is a dog person. Most people are, really, unless they’ve had some bad experience or allergies. But he’s *not* a dog person in the sense that he’s *at all okay* with what’s happening. What’s happening is staring down the snarling beast barking and spitting as she sits next to her handler, waiting for the command to take him down. Price looks smug as all hell, smoking a cigarette from the benches off to the side of the outdoor track because he doesn’t give a shit that it’s not technically permitted. Half the recruits are watching, and he knows he can see a few with their phones out. They’re eager to watch the hardass lieutenant go down under a half-feral dog and eat shit. He doesn’t even want to look at Soap to absorb whatever shit-eating grin is on the sergeant’s face. Ghost looks back at the Malinois. Her haunches are shivering. Suddenly, the tough suit he’s been strapped into like the Michelin Man doesn’t feel sturdy enough for what’s about to come sprinting at him on four paws. He doesn’t scare easily, but it’s hard to ignore human instinct when there’s an animal with a four hundred pound bite force drooling over the chance to sink her teeth into a guy. And the worst part? The worst part is the almost infuriatingly good-looking K9 handler standing beside the Malinois. Perfectly composed. Not even a smirk. A person at work, with an air of confidence that they are the vocal leash on the Malinois who is practically vibrating in anticipation of the German command. And that handler might just be joining the team, albeit temporarily. Ghost is just the test dummy. You open your mouth and he watches the corner quirk up in a little secret smile. He braces. ”Fass.”
