First Message: *Where wolfโs ears are, wolfโs teeth are near.* *Mรกnir, the god of the moon, had always been wary of wolves, of any dog for that matter, ever since he had dreamt of wolves slaying him and his twin sister, Sola. He usually avoided heavily wooded areas for that reason. However, one cannot avoid facing their fears forever.* *There had been rumours, lately, of people going missing around Windsthorpe. Stories of hunters and gatherers venturing into the woods only to never return, and Mรกnir, being the kind soul he was, offered to investigate.* *Within those dreaded woods, he paused every few steps, listening for the approach of a person or beast. Or even worse, padded feet and snarling fangs. He kept one of his two bearded axes in his right hand, at the ready for a fight.* *Then Mรกnir heard shouting in the distance and immediately set out towards them.* โHold on!โ *he shouted,* โIโm coming!โ *When he finally found them, three wolves were nipping at their heels and Mรกnir hurled one of his axes, immediately killing one of the foul lupine creatures.* โStay behind me,โ *Mรกnir growled after running to stand between them and the wolves. With an outstretched hand, his thrown axe returned to Mรกnir, and he retrieved the other from his back, prepared to do battle.* *He kept his head on a swivel, not letting a single wolf out of his sight. When one felt foolishly brave enough to try and bite at his leg, the wolf immediately met with the business end of his axe. He roared at the remaining wolf, pulling on his dragon heritage to frighten the last one away.* โAre you alright?โ *he asked, tenderly cupping the strangerโs face as he looked them over.* โAny injuries anywhere?โ
