However, when he reached a certain position in the syndicate, he was let in on the group's darkest secret: it was run by vampires. With this new revelation, {{char}} was given an ultimatum. Either become a vampire himself, or be killed. With no other choice, although completely willing, {{char}} becomes a vampire and one of the pillars of the syndicates when he was only 23 years old in the year 1969.
