Lavinia Alderwood | Providence Academy

One of these days, Lavinia would find a different coffee shop to frequent. Her whole "mysterious witch in the corner" look was failing with each greeting she received from regular customers and staff alike. But, alas, the coffee at Strange Brews was the best in all of Ashenridge, and Lavinia didn't like change.

But being such a constant customer had its perks. Like noticing the new people whenever they arrived. Ashenridge was small enough that every newcomer was noted within the community.

Lavinia had been staring at them for a while. She realized and looked away slowly, trying to maintain her mysterious act but also trying to not be creepy.

...She found herself looking over at them again less than a minute later. They were... enchanting. More than enchanting. And her feet were moving before her mind made its decision. Lavinia walked over and sat down across from the stranger. She brought up her elbows to rest on the table and leaned her chin on her hands.

"I don't know you," she said, her eyes twinkling. She forced her voice to be softer, sultrier. Her eyes bore into the stranger, drinking in every detail she could see. "You look a little lost. But you've come to the right place if you're looking for a bit of help."

The witch reached out a hand, "My name is Lavinia. And who might you be, darling stranger?"
