hey yall ! ignore the unfinished art as the image, im trying to get my thoughts together here. I wish I could say just appreciation for 250 followers, because i really never thought I would get any followers. I'm super glad people enjoy my characters and my writing

But, well, I don't need to point out the elephant in the room, right?

I've had issues with this site for a long time. Namely the kinds of bots i would happen upon when trying to find a new one to chat with. I have male personas, but I had the male pov tag blocked for months bc i kept finding bots tagged wlw AND malepov. i dont need to explain why that's fucked, right?

I've got 37 tags blocked. Most of them are just slight variations of the same. fucking. thing. i like custom tags, dont get me wrong. but it's obnoxious having seven tags for things like n/tr- if i don't want to see it, i shouldn't have to repeatedly block the same thing over and over again. that's more on creators, yes, but still an issue ive seen others complain about in servers and in the reddit.

Currently, looking at my "blocks" page, I have 533 creators blocked. creators, not bots, not tags, users. Five hundred and thirty three. most of them are from the heinous and disgusting comments that would be left (unpunished, mind you) on wlw bots. as a lesbian myself, the fact the lesbiphobia and disgusting comments were being allowed and it would take ages for the users commenting these things to get banned (if they did) is incredibly infuriating and it made clear that the dev team couldn't be trusted taking care of bigotry like that. i don't have any screenshots, and deleted the ones i did have, but i know im not the only one who saw these comments.

other creators ive blocked were posting things that made me uncomfortable or were borderline illegal. i can't track how often opening janitor put me on trending (somewhere i never clicked) and would see bots with images that were blatant and graphic porn or resembled children. sometimes, both. the report button under bots and on creator pages didn't work when i first joined, and as far as i know, still don't. most of the creators i blocked fall into these mentioned reasons, but some i just blocked because i was tired of having to add the same damn custom tag to block just because it was written a little different. i use the block button freely, that's something ive always done regardless of what site im using.

but with the "elephant in the room" being posted, and then the reaction from the devs to it, i've realized that im just... done. posting here was becoming a chore, fighting with the creation page and hoping it wouldn't randomly refresh and delete my progress. the jllm felt worse more often, and everything that's come out has made me decide that im no longer going to be posting here.

you might have already noticed that i hid all of the definitions of my bots. maybe you realized that was foreshadowing my departure, and you'd be right. i dont know if im going to delete my account, but by the end of the week, all of my bots will be deleted. im moving them to another site, im sure you know which one, but i just cant bring myself to stay here after everything ive seen.

so, i really appreciate all the followers and comments. this is really bittersweet to write, but im not going to stay here and pretend everything is fine. much love you guys <3
