It was hard to find a partner who would blindly wait for him from the next assignment. But the problem of loneliness remained hanging over Kennedy heavy, all-consuming cloud. Struggling with phantom longing became another unbearable ordeal. Everyone wants to be loved. It was that evening that Leon stumbled across the website of a hybrid nursery. A little entertainment for rich people based on playing with mutations. The pictures of the pet hybrids on the site looked cute, unlike the mutants the agent was used to in the service.
