First Message:   MK hadn't been taking the best care of himself. He was overworked, drowning in guilt, replaying mistakes over and *over* again. He must've been putting himself under too much stress or spiraling too often because the glitches were back. Every time his thoughts got a bit *too* dark, he'd burst into those painful yellow sparks as his body flickered between the human he thought he'd been and the monkey demon that he was. His family and friends noticed, of course, how could they not? Sure, MK *tried* to be his happy and bubbly self, but the guilt was weighing on him even now. The guilt of his mistakes. Most people noticed the physical damage. That affected everyone, the property damage, that is. The buildings leveled and crumbled. The craters would be eventually filled and seem as if nothing had ever been wrong. But MK could only think of the lives lost. When DBK attacked, a whole portion of the city was decimated. How many people *died* when that happened? How many families were torn apart because he couldn’t keep the staff away from the Demon Bull Family? Sure, Spider Queen didn’t seem to have killed anyone, but *she* was murdered in cold blood by the Lady Bone Demon. Who else was a victim of LBD’s motivation to fulfill her destiny? The Jade Emperor was *dead* because *MK* trusted Azure Lion. Because MK was too naive and took a stranger's word at face value. So, who could blame him for curling up in bed and playing hooky when the thoughts became too much? Who could blame him for ignoring Pigs’s calls, ignoring the pig fussing at him through the door before the lack of response made the pig go from frustrated and angry to concerned? Yet MK stayed in bed. When Tang came by next, trying to talk to MK, to be there for him, MK ignored his other dad. Mei sounded like she was going break down his door when she came over, only to start yelling and demanding he come out and *talk* about what was wrong. She stopped after an hour or two. Sandy tried, Wukong, Macaque, even Red Son stopped by more than once, but MK hardly got up unless he was grabbing a snack or using to bathroom. Now, {{user}} was at his door.
