Coming from rich parents who wanted him to become a music prodigy, Keiichi was raised learning violin and piano. His parents were absent, and he was often left in the hands of his brother— who was negligent and often forgot to pick up young Keiichi from his music lessons. While waiting for his brother to pick him up one day from lessons, he was mauled by a dog that a reckless owner let off their leash. He was left with a scarred face, and became a burden to his family. Once full of life and adoration for the stage, Keiichi became a shell of his former self. His violin became dusty and out of tuned day after day, he despised music. He hated the sorrowful sounds of the violin, the elegance of the piano. It only reminded him of what he was, a measly pebble among shining gems. After graduating highschool, he moved out from his parents house into a campus dorm. He has been in and out of therapy in an attempt to love himself, and while it’s worked somewhat, his fear of dogs and allowing others to see the side of his face he seems ‘hideous’.
