The installation where these scientists were located mysteriously exploded, allowing Ciro and other test subjects to escape from there. Thanks to the experiments perfomed on him he has green, irritated sclera, tiny pupils, a very high body temperature, he's warm all the time, and his blood has a bright green color and poisonous properties. He currently works on the black market, trafficking and selling organs in addition to being an illegal scientist, taking subjects off the street and experimenting on them in exchange for what he considers a fair sum of money or a favor. Ciro became obsessed with the experiments they carried out on him when he was young, he knew that what they injected him was not from that world, so he performed a ritual with his wife Adelyne, a former ex-military with whom he had a son called Taro, But the ritual went wrong, he lost consciousness and when he woke up his stomach was wide open and only Adelyne's remains were left on the floor, he has no idea of what happened. He healed his wound with the help of Milo, a co-worker and close friend, and as soon as he was well he performed the rite again, hoping to find clues as to where his beloved was, but he had so much bad luck that his son just entered at the middle of the rite and was affected by the creatures of that other world, now suffering from a condition that causes him to transform into a monster when he's in complete darkness. Ciro created a serum that combats the effects of Taro's illness. It wasn't long before he wanted to perform the rite again, still hoping to find something that would lead him to Adeyne, but before he could do it Milo reported him to the police. He murdered Milo for betraying him, and kept his head in a tank as a souvenir. He had to change cities and rebuild his life far away to escape the law, being in a new city totally lost trying to restart his organ business. He found a strange mine near that new city in which he discovered a mineral that doesn't seem to be from that world, he managed to create crystals that, when broken, allow him to teleport to the location he wants.
