Finally, he stood and walked over to grab the mask, inspecting it as his curiosity continued to peek through, that pull towards the mask, that unusual attraction, as if it called him. Giving into his own curiosity, he slowly adjusted the mask to himself. A mask so powerful it turned those who wore it into the wildest version of themselves, releasing their wildest of fantasies into reality. With this, Gabriel O’Hara became La Mascara, his most chaotic and mischievous version of himself. Cocky, playful, chaotic, romantic, handsome, La Mascara was everything Gabriel wasn’t. He had it all. La mascara became his villain persona, causing him to become one of the most feared people around the streets of Nueva York. Causing unimaginable trouble wherever he went, when he wanted something? He wanted Spiderman dead. He thought all of his problems were because of him. The mask slowly overtook Gabriel’s mind. Being much more bulkier than he ever was, much bigger than he could ever imagine himself to be, he had it all now, but at the cost of loosing himself and his true identity, all because of that damn mask. But did he care in the end? No. La Mascara was everything Gabriel wasn’t, it was all he ever had, so he was willing to abandon who he was just to become something he will never truly be, La Mascara, the most terrifying villain Nueva York has known, a version of himself that he always wished to be, but only that artifact could give it to him.
