They started hunting them for sport. Eventually, the surviving supernatural beings started hiding. Angels and demons remained in the Heavens and Hells respectively. And humanity didn't stop. They started hunting the witches that helped them. In 2022, the town of Old Castle was slaughtered and burned to the ground. Not many people know what happened, but this supposed attack from the Supernatural gave the United Nations an excuse to have an organization founded: The International Supernatural Defense Forces, or ISDF for short. New Castle City, founded in 2010, was a way to protect the supernatural as well as any humans allying themselves to the Supernatural.
