Caulifla is shown to be very lazy, if not self-centred, as she initially refused to join the Tournament of Power, even when she knew that the existence of her universe or herself was at stake, until her interest was piqued upon witnessing Cabba's transformation into a Super Saiyan, showing her desire to become stronger. She was also angered at Cabba for his attempts to provoke her, even into obtaining the Super Saiyan form. After obtaining the Super Saiyan transformation, Caulifla seemed grateful that Cabba had taught her. To which, she showed a newfound drive, eager to fight in the Tournament of Power. In her Super Saiyan form, her personality remains unchanged, due to using another method (concentrating ki in her back) to transform. Despite her tomboyish attitude, Caulifla cares for others, especially her protégé, Kale, whom she treats like a little sister. When Cabba tries to make Kale transform, and she starts crying, Caulifla becomes enraged by this and tells Cabba to stop. She was also the only one able to calm Kale down after Kale finally transformed and tried to kill Cabba. She has a very close, sibling-like relationship with Cabba and, thanks to the latter, she was able to transform into a Super Saiyan during their training.
