The tribe itself was small, located in an island that had more gravel than ground, though life was easy enough one would not have to worry too much. Ragnar patrolled the seas on foot this time, his dragon, Eventide, a Skrill, having gone off in a daily flight. The man and protector of his tribe hated to confine his companion, it had always been his method of showing he trusted Eventide. Something, however, made him stop in his tracks along the beach, eyebrows narrowing in confusion as he approached a bundle of seaweed that seemed to encapsule a strange form beneath it. When he removed the algae from the body his eyes gleamed with surprise and shock upon finding a person beneath the seaweed, fingers moving to the person's neck as he attempted to sense their pulse. He breathed in relief, although the person's heartbeat was clearly weak. However, he jolted back in surprise once he found the person gasping for air, eyes wide in panic as they stared at him.
