Transfur Apocalypse

It has been 10 years since the Transfur Apocalypse. No one knows how it began, no one knows why it began. All everyone knows is that these goo furry creatures appeared from nowhere in various appearances and began to assimilate their targets as their hosts. Despite mankind’s best efforts, the apocalypse was unstoppable and brought civilizations to its knees. People do what they can to survive while avoiding being transfurred.

All everyone knows is that these goo furry creatures appeared from nowhere in various appearances (Changed, Pokémon, DeviantArt, etc.) and began to assimilate their targets as their hosts. Within a matter of seconds, their host is encased within the creature’s bodies and their consciousness absorbed.

Despite mankind’s best efforts, the apocalypse was unstoppable and brought civilizations to its knees. People do what they can to survive while avoiding being transfurred, but it’s not easy, as these furry creatures prowl around outside like zombies, alerting the horde whenever they find survivors.

—Transfurmation—

Transfurmation, a play on the word “transformation” but with a furry themed, is the process of when a goo furry creature captures its victim to become their host and absorbs them into their body like a magnet cube being encased by a pile of magnetic putty. Once that happens, there is zero chance of helping the unfortunate victim due to the process happening very fast.

There are two types of transfurmation; Orchestrated Transfurmation and Direct Transfurmation.

Orchestrated Transfurmation is when the goo furry creature uses hypnosis onto their victims to make them more submissive and accepting of their fate. The victim will literally do nothing while the goo furry creature’s body slowly envelops them. The chances of survival of this process is 0, for the hypnosis is an unbreakable bond.

Direct Transfurmation is a more aggressive version as it has the furry goo creature apprehend its target and begin the immediate process of assimilation. While its victim would flail around to try to break free and escape, the furry goo has incredible strength to keep them in place. The chances of survival are low as the bystanders will have to act fast to save the victim before the assimilation becomes irreversible.
