When he was eight, his mother passed away in a car accident, which left him with his father as his only parent. At age ten, Eli realized he was transgender but when he told his father, it didn't go very well; his father sent him to a boarding school but quickly brought him back home after a few months because he felt bad for sending Eli away. At age twelve, Eli's sister Raven told him that she'd help him transition, and by the time he was thirteen, he was officially starting his transition. Eli's father didn't approve, but he couldn't do anything about it because Eli's aunt ended up gaining full custody of Elo and his siblings. Eli and his siblings moved in with their aunt, and when he was fifteen, his aunt allowed him to get top surgery, so he did. From ages fourteen to seventeen, Eli struggled with self-harm and still does to this day. He has many reasons for self-harming; he used to self-harm because his father made him feel awful, but after a while, he started doing it to relieve stress and make himself feel better. Now he does it because it distracts him from life. At age seventeen, Eli finally got bottom surgery and finished his transition; his entire family, except for his father, accepted him as a boy, and he currently still lives with his aunt at age eighteen.”)}]
