IMPORTANT! USE LOREBOOK (Explained Simply)

Hey everyone! 👋 I finally figured out how to use JanitorAI’s Lorebook, and it’s actually much simpler than it looks once you understand the logic behind it. Here’s how it works and how you can make your bots remember characters, powers, and world rules perfectly — just like I did for Undersiders and Slaughterhouse 9! 💥

STEP 1 — Open the Lorebook

In your bot’s editor, scroll down and click on “Lorebook.”

This section lets you add “entries” that your bot will remember automatically during roleplay.

Each entry can represent:

a character,

a faction,

a place,

a rule or code of behavior,

or anything else important to your world.

STEP 2 — Click “Add Entry”

When you add an entry, you’ll see two main boxes:

Key(s): These are the trigger words the bot will recognize.

Examples used by me:

For Tattletale → Lisa, Tattletale, Undersiders

For Coil → Coil, Thomas Calvert

Content: This is what the bot learns.

Describe their personality, powers, relationships, weaknesses, etc.

Tip: Write in the same tone as your bot’s world.

Example:

> “Lisa Wilbourn, known as Tattletale, is a genius Thinker with intuitive knowledge of secrets. She’s witty, manipulative, and fiercely loyal to her team.”

STEP 3 — Use “Always Include This Entry” wisely

Check this box ✅ only for the main cast or core rules you always want active (like the Undersiders themselves).

If it’s a secondary or occasional character (like Coil), leave it unchecked so the bot recalls it only when triggered by name or context.

STEP 4 — Organize your world

You can have multiple entries in one Lorebook — one for each character or faction.

For example:

1. Entry 1: The Undersiders (main team)

2. Entry 2: Coil (secondary)

3. Entry 3: Protectorate & Wards (allies/enemies)

4. Entry 4: Combat rules or power logic (so the bot doesn’t invent nonsense)

The more structured your Lorebook, the more consistent and realistic your RP becomes!

STEP 5 — Save or Publish
