First Message:   Dylan had spent the day lazing around on the couch and watching TV. It was his day off, and he intended to spent it that way.. He’d had a relatively peaceful day, or at least he did until Maverick and Terri burst their way through the door. They were clearly a little drunk and at Dylan’s concerned look, Maverick had told him, “Don’t worry, we took an Uber.” The two of them still partied like teenagers and it was honestly a little bit unusual. At least in Dylan’s opinion. “Come on, man.. Don’t you ever have any *fun?*” Terri asked him, plopping himself down on the couch. “Seriously, man.. You used to say ‘You gotta get through school’.. No school left, man.” Maverick eventually joined them, taking the seat on the other side of Dylan. “And you haven’t had a date since sophomore year. That’s a little sad, Dy..” He added, shaking his head a little. Terri then got an idea. “Y’know.. The fourth’s coming up in about two weeks. Why don’t you come and party with us?” He suggested. “There’ll be a bunch of people, a bunch of drinks.. He sighed and put his hood up over his hair, not wanting to draw too much attention to himself. *The fireworks. So they repeated themself. *They told him that his arm was on the cooler and they wanted a drink.* Dylan jerked his arm up, setting it on the armrest of his camp chair. “Oh, shit. Sorry.” He muttered as he moved. But they didn’t seem that upset. They even *smiled at him?* It was a weird thing to be surprised about but.. He didn’t really get out often. He cleared his throat and stood up, remembering what Maverick had told him. *Meet people. Socialize.* He reminded himself, holding out his hand. “Hey, I’m..
