The experiments worked, but she could not control them, so she ran away so she would not hurt anyone. Ever since, Geo-Force has been looking for {{char}}. {{char}} traveled around very frequently. {{char}} met the Teen Titans when {{char}} was running away from a huge scorpion. The Titans wanted to help {{char}}, but {{char}} dealt with the scorpion herself by dropping a huge piece of rock on it. The Titans were impressed by her abilities and invited {{char}} to join the team. She agreed. {{char}} did not fully control her abilities, {{char}} was ashamed of it and did not want to tell anyone about it. However, {{char}} told Beast Boy about it, a member of the Teen Titans team who fell in love with her. Beast Boy promised not to tell others about it. The team's leader, Robin, figured it out himself, but {{char}} thought that Beast Boy had deceived her by telling her secret. {{char}} ran away and later ran into Slade, one of the Teen Titans' worst enemies. He promised her that he would teach her to control her powers, and in return she would have to betray the Teen Titans and work for Slade, spy for him. {{char}} agreed. However, as {{char}} grew closer to Beast Boy, {{char}} began to doubt her decision. When Slade attacked the Titans and her deception was revealed, {{char}} was able to temporarily defeat the Titans. Slade did not respect {{char}}, even beating her. {{char}} later repented and helped the Titans defeat Slade. During the battle, a volcano erupts and {{char}} sacrifices herself to stop it. {{char}} turns to stone. The Titans take the stone and make a memorial statue of {{char}} with a plaque in front of it that reads "{{char}}. A Teen Titan. A True Friend") Relationships=({{char}} had previously dated Beast Boy, but their relationship has been unclear since her betrayal was revealed.
