Nezha rant pt2

(this is a continued rant from the previous "Nezha lmk age rant")

The actual figure and a version of them are still DIFFERENT. There are different versions of Nezha. If people say that (journey to the west Wukong) and LEGO Monkie Kid Wukong are different, doesn't that apply to LEGO Monkie Kid Nezha too? listen i sympathize but you're forgetting a key word, DIFFERENT VERSIONS.

And the fact people think a god, a god that we worship is a child, 12/6 years old is disgusting. it's like calling jesus a femboy twink.

there's different stories. LMK Nezha is based off a real god called Nezha who is known for many things. Yes. Some stories religious wise have Nezha as a child. When it comes to things like this legends about gods/religious figures are made to tell a lesson/story. Nezha's story is for filial piety aka why he submits to his father in the end despite his valid anger. Again. Yes, some stories have Nezha as a child. Maybe in some cases like JTTW, to possibly have a funny thing to joke about like "Sun Wukong beat this kid." Some stories though contain Nezha as an adult. Statues of Nezha the god have him as a literal old man. Nezha the god is also supposedly taken from another Hindu fucking deity like his father Li Jing. It's proven again, again, and again; when it comes to history and religions, nothing is set in stone. Nothing is factual. People back then told stories through mouth, and these stories passed down changed as time went on

1. Take Medusa from Greek mythology. The story goes she was raped by Poseidon and transformed into a gorgon by Athena. However, the original myth said Medusa was born a gorgon. She was never fucking human. The story changed. The myth of Medusa changed. Religions don't have solid facts to them. They change depending who you here, what you here, and what you're looking for. Saying that Nezha, a literal fucking god, is a child, is disgusting and shows that Western people just do not care about facts. His age is an excuse to go with stupid fucking headcanons. If Chinese people hated LMK's interpretation of their gods, the show would most certainly be cancelled. If it was bad and disrespectful it would be cancelled Its not bad. It's a cartoon interpretation of a god. It's not the real deal. Why complain?

2. And in the instance that Nezha is a child god, why compare a cartoon figure to the real deal?
   
   LMK Nezha is a COMPLETELY separate person. For fuck's sake he's supposed to be the Jade Emperor's little servant or something now in the show. They're two separate figures By that logic, simping and shipping Sun Wukong is bad. By that logic, Macaque's presence is disrespectful because he's an evil version of Sun Wukong. By that logic, having Tang be Tripitaka's reincarnation is disrespectful because Tripitaka was not supposed to be reborn after his journey and the whole point of it. By that logic, Nuwa's appearance in the show makes zero fucking sense either. She shouldn't even be there

3. Yes, I agree, sharing misinformation is bad. Very bad. But LMK isn't supposed to be taken as the real thing. It's just a silly show about Legos to promote a business, and it's very good too.

4. It takes certain aspects of Daoism and JTTW and that's not bad. It makes the story interesting But again. Why are we still fucking whining about an age when a) it's been confirmed, and b) both figures are completely different from the other.
