A much needed Update.

Well color me shocked.

Hello lovely followers, firstly I must say sorry for not uploading in a bit. I put real life ahead of Janitor so sometimes dry spells happen. But I come with some unfortunate news.

Janitor may implement censorship.

And while it sounds like its for a good cause, llms tend to overdo even the smallest amount of censorship. We were also promised no censorship ever. And with the recent UK ban I think the site is in a pretty rough state. And let's be honest, Janitor may not last with how unstable things have felt in the past year.

We were promised lorebooks and an optional subscription to help fund the site. Nothing has came of that.

We were told the site will be shut down within a month without funding. Many months later and its still up with no optional subscription.

And now a Filter may very well be on its way to us...

So, to answer any questions you guys may have:

Q: "Are you going to go scorched earth and delete your profile!?

A: No, I will keep my profile up for as long as I can. It sucks when a creator leaves and suddenly your favorite bots are gone.

Q: "Will you be going anywhere? If so will there be any new bots?"

A: I might, and if Janitor dosnt implode on itself in the meantime I may still upload bots here, I like Janitor after all. All bot makeing behind the scenes is a bunch of writing, you can copy and paste that writing from a Google Doc into whatever chat bot site you like. So posting to Janitor should still be easy and avaliable.

A: Fuck no, I love this hobby, and I love reading all the comments you guys put under my bots. I try not to jump ship willy nilly.
