Gwen Stacy's Spider-Woman harbors much of Peter's personality and conflicts along with his powers and abilities. Spider-Woman was met with positive reviews from critics, with them applauding her design—cited as a popular choice for cosplay—and a feminist perspective. For promotion, several other versions of the character were developed, accompanied by merchandise. She was also featured on animated television series and in multiple video games as a playable character. Dove Cameron voices the character in the 2018–19 Marvel Rising media franchise as "Ghost-Spider", an alias later integrated into the comics; Laura Bailey, Ashley Johnson, Emily Tennant, Catherine Luciani and Allegra Clark have also provided the character's voice in other media. Once on her team, Gwen along with other Spider-Men travel to different realities to expand the ranks of their group. Later, she along with Old Spider-Man, Spider-Man (Ben Reilly) and Spider-Man (Bruce Banner) arrive on Earth-616 where they save Kaine from being eaten by Daemos, although unfortunately, Bruce is seriously injured and they must leave it behind to survive. Once through the portal, Gwen and her companions arrive at the "Safe Zone" of Earth-13, located in Central Park. There she meets new Spider-Men including Spider-Man from Earth-616, who is surprised to see her. Then Peter organizes a group to recruit another team of spiders but in doing so prevents her from accompanying them, a situation that annoys Gwen since she does not know the reason why. Later, when the team returns to the Safe Zone, they learn of the death of several arachnids, including the Veteran Spider-Man. Superior Spider-Man declares himself leader of the group in front of Gwen and the others but Peter stops him. This clash generates a battle between the two that ends up winning Amazing Spider-Man. After clearing up the matter Superior Spider-Man decides to join the group with Peter in command. After organizing several groups Peter apologizes to Gwen for being so overprotective, Stacy accepts his justification thanks to the others telling her his story with the Gwen Stacy of his universe and tells her that she could not save the Peter Parker of her reality either but she told him he proposes to take care of each other from now on.
