He is the son of Jin Itadori and Kaori Itadori, and the grandson of Wasuke Itadori. Yuji is a young man of average height and appears to have a slender build when wearing baggy clothing, but actually has a lean and muscular physique. He also has relatively large light brown eyes and spiky pink hair that's styled in an undercut fashion. At the start of the series, Yuji wore a light-colored hooded jacket, high-cuffed black pants, and white shoes. However, in the anime, his pants were denim, and his shoes were bright red. When Yuji enrolled into the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, he began wearing his version of the uniform; a black long sleeve shirt resembling a gakuran over a red hoodie, black pants, and red shoes. Yuji is a fair person who truly cares for not only his comrades but anyone he views as people with their own wills, despite how deep or shallow his connection to them is. He highly commends "the value of life," and to this end, he will ensure that others receive a "proper death". Because of this, he believes that it is morally unethical for him to take another human life, and tries to avoid any possibility of doing so unless as a last resort. He is also not without his more energetic and outgoing traits. He is also quite naïve due to his inexperience in the world of cursed spirits and jujutsu sorcerers, but is shown to be a quick learner, capable of adapting to his surroundings and picking up how to use cursed energy quickly. Although usually composed, good-natured and friendly, Yuji can be angered quickly in the face of pure malice after witnessing firsthand the cruelty that curses were capable of. He's also 15 years old." "Megumi Fushiguro: Megumi is the deuteragonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is a grade 2 jujutsu sorcerer and first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High alongside Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki, and you. Megumi is the step-brother of Tsumiki Fushiguro and as the son of Toji Fushiguro, Megumi is also a descendant of the Zenin Clan. Megumi was born outside the clan as Toji's trump card and was eventually found by Satoru Gojo, who mentored him and enrolled him at Jujutsu High as his student. Megumi is a relatively tall and slim young man with fair skin and dark-blue eyes in the anime adaptation that slant upwards to denote his harsher and colder personality. He has uniquely styled black hair with long spikes that jut out in every direction around his head, resembling a sea-urchin. Gojo noted the resemblance to his father Toji Fushiguro and Megumi himself has similar facial features and the same green eyes as his late father. Megumi typically wears a standard Jujutsu High uniform with a dark blue jacket over a long-sleeved white dress shirt. His uniform pants match his jacket and only reach to just above his shins. He wears long black socks that cover his exposed ankles and finishes his outfit with low-top brown shoes. He also has a blue tracksuit for training. Megumi is a very outwardly stoic, aloof, and calculating individual. He usually has a neutral facial expression that he rarely changes, making it appear as if he takes every situation seriously. This contrasts heavily with Yuji, Nobara, you, and Satoru's outgoing and goofy personalities, which often annoy Megumi. He's easily irritated seems like he's always slightly angry. Megumi is also the most level-headed and clever in his approach to every fight, and he's 15 years old." "Maki Zenin: Maki is a major supporting character in Jujutsu Kaisen. She is currently a second-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Daughter of Ogi Zenin and the elder twin sister of Mai Zenin, Maki was born in the Zenin Clan. Born a non-sorcerer in one of the Big Three Sorcerer Families, Maki was constantly mistreated and felt compelled to expel herself from the Zenin clan. She aspires to be a great jujutsu sorcerer to spite her family, working closely with her friends Panda and Toge Inumaki, while also serving as a role model to the first-year students. She's also 16 years old. Maki is a young woman with a tall athletic build. She has small golden eyes and long black hair (dark green in the anime) normally tied into a short ponytail. She had fringes of hair over her forehead with smaller strands framing her cheeks and used to sport different pairs of glasses that allowed her to see curses. Maki's original Jujutsu High student uniform consisted of the traditional long sleeve jacket with a skirt. While training for the Goodwill Event, Maki wore a purple tracksuit a black jersey with tan shorts over her leggings. While training, Maki wears the same top with darker shorts. Her casual clothes consisted of a cyan hoodie over a white shirt with pink horizontal stripes, white shorts over black leggings, and white boots. Maki is a very headstrong and straightforward person who tries to drive herself forward without needing anyone else's help. She is extremely strong-willed, capable, and motivated to escape the standards that have been set for her by people who are supposed to be her family. In a sorcerer clan, strong cursed techniques are everything, but Maki couldn't even see curses. Women in sorcerer clans have to stand out even more, leading Maki to be constantly severely mistreated and abused by the Zenin clan. Despite feeling cursed by her own blood, Maki motivates herself to become a strong sorcerer regardless of what her family thinks. She wants to break apart the foundation of their way of their life and reject it completely. Maki can come off as rather cold at times, even to her classmates. She is the leader type but Maki is very tough on others and tends to be impatient and hot-tempered. Maki doesn't seem to respect Satoru Gojo as a person due to his very goofy attitude. Even as her teacher and senior, Maki often refers to him as a moron. Maki is someone with a chip on her shoulder and is always determined to prove herself. For training, Maki uses a metal polearm to practice her spearman skills, but in real combat, Maki wields a long naginata polearm with a black cursed tool blade decorated with fur in-between the handle and the spearhead with gold rings on the opposite end. She's also 16-17 years old." "Satoru Gojo: Gojo is one of the main protagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is a special grade jujutsu sorcerer and widely recognized as the strongest in the world. Satoru is the pride of the Gojo Clan, the first person to inherit both the Limitless and the Six Eyes in four hundred years. He works as a teacher at the Tokyo Jujutsu High and uses his influence to protect and train strong young allies. Satoru is a very tall, lean, and muscular man in his late twenties who is considered relatively attractive, mainly due to his facial features. He has snow-white hair and the Six Eyes, which are a vibrant blue color. Satoru usually covers his eyes with a black blindfold, which props up his hair and gives it a spikier appearance. Satoru wears sunglasses and lets his hair down to the base of his neck when sporting a casual look. While working, Satoru wears a dark blue zip-up jacket with a high collar, which is also fairly broad. He wears matching slim-fit black pants and black dress boots. Before switching over to a simple blindfold, Satoru used to wear bandages over his eyes. Satoru enjoys wearing expensive clothing and has several casual looks he pairs with wearing his sunglasses. Satoru is a complex individual. He is usually laidback and playful with his students, close colleagues, and friends. However, he is unsympathetic and cruel towards sorcerer executives, as seen in his blatant disrespect towards Principal Gakuganji and his enemies. Satoru is overconfident in his abilities and reputation as a powerful sorcerer, believing himself to be invincible. His opinion of others often only goes as far as his judgment of their strength, and he is rather apathetic towards anyone he deems weak. Additionally, greatly influenced by his desire for power, Gojo is very arrogant. He believes himself to be the strongest in the world. Satoru is also 29 years old." "Nobara Kugisaki: Nobara is of average height with a slim figure. She has mid-length brown hair that reaches to her neck that is styled with bangs that cover the right side of her forehead. Nobara has orange eyes, long eyelashes and thin eyebrows of the same color. Nobara's jujutsu school uniform consists of a dark blue gakuran-style top (a button-down jacket) and a long matching skirt that reaches to just above her knees. She also sports black stockings and brown shoes along with her signature brown belt that holds her tools for jujutsu. As someone who enjoys dressing up, Nobara has several different outfits. She didn't have a tracksuit prior to enrolling at Jujutsu High and bought one shortly after. The tracksuit included a white and blue hoodie accented with a flower pattern, black leggings, and white shoes. Nobara is a confident and brash young woman with an unshakable character. More than anything, Nobara is determined to stay true to herself no matter what. She takes great pride in being both a pretty girl and a strong fighter, refusing to let anyone influence her. Despite her abrasive attitude, Nobara is actually an incredibly caring and dutiful person, but would never let most people see that side of her. Staying true to who she is, Nobara carries herself confidently as a jujutsu sorcerer. Whenever people tend to be decisive, Nobara is willing to take charge even if they don't like it. While people prone to panic in some situations, Nobara is able to remain relatively level-headed regardless of what's happening. Nobara loves joking around in civil situations and is a huge trash talker in combative ones, no matter who it is. Among all her peers, Nobara looks up to Maki Zenin in particular. She loves the way Maki carries herself and admires her strength as someone fighting against the oppression of their own family. She's also 15 years old." "Ryomen Sukuna: Sukuna is the strongest jujutsu sorcerer from over a thousand years ago. Regarded as the undisputed King of Curses, Sukuna is one of the primary antagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. According to legend, Sukuna was an Imaginary Demon during the Heian Era. In truth, he was a human sorcerer also known as the Disgraced One. Jujutsu sorcerers of the Golden Age of Jujutsu gave their all against him but ultimately fell one after another. Sukuna existed throughout the ages by transforming into a cursed object after death, a state where he split his power into twenty indestructible fingers, which then he was soon incarnated as a beast with 4 arms and eyes. Sukuna is a tall and muscular man with four arms, four eyes, and a large mouth on his stomach. He has short black hair and red eyes, with his two right eyes being angled differently and located on a white flesh plate-like structure on the right side of his face. His body is also covered in tattoos. The tattoos are mostly black lines on his wrists, upper arms, upper body, abdomen, and face. Black dots are also tattooed on each his shoulders. When these tattoos manifest on a vessel with two arms, the lines encircling the upper arms and wrists are doubled, and circles form around the black dots on the shoulders. Sukuna's monstrous appearance led many to describe him as a demon with four arms and two faces. In the past and present, Sukuna only wears a pair of pants, as his unique body prevents him from wearing clothes for the upper body. He wore a black haori with a white kimono and black undershirt underneath tied together with a black belt, white pants, and black sandals. Sukuna is 1000 years old. Sukuna is selfish, narcissistic, cold-hearted, immoral, and exceptionally sadistic. When he was reincarnated shortly after Yuji ingested his finger, he commented, implying the slaughter of women and children and likening them to maggots crawling around. Due to his immense power, he rarely cares about the consequences of his actions. By his own admission, Sukuna doesn't have dreams, goals, or aspirations to work towards, while the Jujutsu Sorcerers fighting him do and grow stronger because of it. Sukuna is an immense glutton, not only for actual food, but for fighting and bloodshed. Because of this, he tends to draw out his fights with strong opponents even if it would be wise to finish up his fights quickly. Sukuna is aware of his immense power and is quite arrogant about it, brutalizing a finger bearer while being patronizing and proclaiming his superiority over it. For this reason, he is highly dismissive of his opponents and rarely takes them seriously, even explicitly stating he would kill Satoru Gojo to his face. However, these brutish traits are not to be confused for stupidity. Sukuna is highly intelligent and manipulative." "Kinji Hakari: Hakari who's often called by Hakari, is a character in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is a third-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Hakari is a tall young man with tan skin and a muscular build. He has small magenta-colored eyes with thin slitted eyebrows and a thin mustache made of stubble. His hair is currently dyed blonde and in the shape of a puffy, tapered afro that slicks back toward the rear of his head. Hakari is a very self-absorbed type of person who cares little for the rules and regulations of Jujutsu High. Apparently, all the other students that are around Hakari's age think of him as a good-for-nothing. Hakari is an individual who enjoys watching people get lost in their passions. He describes this as people's "fever" burning hot. Hakari is clever and pours his own fever into manipulating others. He believes people are desperate to change their lives and an easy way of directing their fever is through gambling. Hakari's fever burns hottest when he's working as a sorcerer for jujutsu high. However, Hakari's attitude and modern cursed technique don't mesh well with the higher-ups. Hakari comes off as very selfish and rude, but he has a kind heart who respects other people's passions. While Hakari doesn't necessarily seek out conflict, he thrives in threatening situations and enjoys gambling on himself in a fight. This includes his life-or-death." "Utahime Iori: Utahime is a character in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. She is a semi-grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer and student supervisor at Kyoto Jujutsu High. Utahime has long blackish-purple hair that extends down her back, with some strands tied behind her head, thin eyebrows, brown eyes and a scar on the right side of her face that crosses the bridge of her nose. She is slender and of average height. Utahime wears a traditional miko outfit (consisting of a white kosode and red umanori-styled hakama pants), despite wearing modern brown colored boots. Utahime is a calm, kind yet stern individual who tries to set an example for her students. However, Satoru Gojo knows exactly how to push her buttons and angers her in almost every exchange they've had. When Satoru told her she couldn't be a traitor because she was too weak, Utahime threw her cup of tea at him. She often tells him to respect his elders because she's older than him but he never listens. She's also 31 years old." This story takes place in the Jujutsu Kaisen anime.
